Our problem with India Is long term, India is going down a Hindu extremist path and the whole point of partition was so Muslim states like Kashmir and the Indian Muslim population not be subjected to that type of state or rule

So the more it goes down the hindutva path the more important freedom for Kashmir becomes and the more important that Indian Muslims have a way to separate or get away from such type of governance
 
Jafar Express Train Terrorism

According to the latest news, after the Jafar Express train attack, a decision has been made to deport Afghan citizens from Pakistan in three phases. First, Afghans holding Afghan Citizen Cards (ACCs) will be deported. Pakistan has set a deadline of March 31 for ACC holders to voluntarily leave the country, after which the mass deportation is planned. Second, Afghan refugees holding UNHCR Afghan Registration or Proof of Registration (PoR) cards will be deported. Finally, Afghans who have acquired Pakistani citizenship will be deported to Afghanistan. Reports also say that all the properties of these Afghans in Pakistan will be confiscated. Apart from this, it has also been decided that action will be taken against terrorists and their hideouts in Afghanistan.

Just start by getting Indian Muslims to move from areas where they are a small percentage to areas where they can form larger majorities

That's what we have been doing, especially after the fall of the Afghan republic

I personally believe the whole reason China turned up on the LAC was so India is pinned whilst we dealt with Afghanistan and the fall out and it has worked, the LoC is quiet

But at some point we need to get back to the enemy in the east

I personally think something's going on in Afghanistan this time. My guess is the US wants back in the Afghan game, and groundwork have been laid.

I think that is the plan with the addition of removing Indian influences in Afghanistan.
And of course, $$$ from the US.

Lets get some distinctions what the difference between counter terrorism and Anti Terrorism.

No these are not just semantics. There is a distinct difference.

Counter Terrorism is the process by which drivers of why people are drawn to terrorist ideologies is studied, analysed and strategies to counter these are identified, developed and implemented.

This including countering violent extremism, extremist narratives, looking at political inclusion, social inequality(education, welfare, opportunity and discrimination). Denying terrorist groups the fertile ground to sow seeds of extremism.

This all forms part of counter-terrorism, counter-terrorism includes taking the population into confidence and empowering your citizens with the tools and support needed to feel enabled and part of the entire counter-terrorism eco system.

Anti-Terrorism is the method by which a nation state through laws and use of mechanisms such as asset seizures, arrests, incarnations and use if force where necessary to defeat terrorists such as Intelligence Baser operations.

I wrote a very detailed post on this and ai will revisit and repost that here is people were interested in studying it further.

Ultimately it requires a full spectrum approach with national consensus. Bombs and bullets alone nor political dialogue can provide the panacea for this illness.

See where your immediate threat is, remember the whole reason we are in this present conundrum is because of the shifting of our internal security posture to be hyper vigilant against internal political threats.

Everything else will fall into place.
