Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Steve Witkoff, Trump's envoy for Ukraine and the Middle East, was also added to the chat while he was in Moscow—a country infamous for cyber sabotage. To add to the absurdity, journalist Jeffrey Goldberg was mistakenly included, leading to the eventual leak.
Jeffrey Goldberg published the story in The Atlantic on March 24, 2025, claiming he had informed the White House about the leak at 9:00 AM that morning. He stated that he reached out through emails, text messages, and calls to National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, White House Chief of Staff Susie Willis, and Homeland Security Advisor/Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller. Yet, during a press conference at 2:41 PM Eastern Time, Trump denied any knowledge of the story. My heart goes out to the millions of Americans who will bear the brunt of yet another heartless and irresponsible decision by the Trump administration. Sadly, this comes as no surprise. McCain's vote was not decisive. It was vindictive. He and Trump did not have a good working relationship.
McCain was a petty, bitter man who harbored a lot of ill will because he was passed over for flag rank. He was a carpet bagger who married into money the 2nd time. It was Daddy Hensley who backed his career and kept his ass out of prison when the whole Keating 5 scandal broke.

No kidding. Yet, show me a President who HASN'T done that to some degree or another.
I get it that you have a particular hard-on against President Trump. Yet, the facts are with me that you will be hard pressed to name a president since say 1950 who hasn't.
As for the SnapChat scandal, that journalist should have been arrested already for leaking the chat.
