Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

Today, the United States launched 7 air strikes on Houthi sites in Saada Governorate, northern Yemen, where 3 raids targeted the headquarters of the leadership east of the city of Saada, and 4 arms stores in the Al Salem district.

Houthis lack the "mass-bombardment scale" of missiles needed to fight more decisively.

Instead of firing 1-2 missiles at a time at Israel it should have been 12-14, and if they want to seriously have a chance at sinking USN ships they literally need to fire hundreds upon hundreds of drones, missiles and the sort to overwhelm a USN CVBG anti-air defense screen with each Aegis destroyer equipped with dozens of air defense missiles and CIWS, so a typical Carrier Battle Group has 200-400 air defense missiles the Houthis need to overwhelm to even able to decisively sink one USN ship....

If not fighting to kill or defeat the enemy, it's worth not fighting at all just to say "I did something"....

Fight to win, and utterly defeat the enemy, not just for "feels".....
 
Look how close Yemen is to the sea and to Iran and Somalia (Turkish military base).

We could easily ship rockets to the Houthis with two fingers in the nose and nobody would hear it.

We know that the muslim leaders have no balls for a war against Israel - but at least send your rockets to Ansarullah because they have the balls.

I get it when a leader don't want the risk of to be bombed by the US, but at least send weapons and support to the Houthis so they can do the work were you dont have the balls for.

Statement by the Yemeni Armed Forces regarding the downing of a US MQ-9 drone by air defenses while carrying out hostile missions in the airspace of Ma'rib Governorate. This is the sixteenth drone that our air defenses have managed to down during the Battle of the Promised Victory and the Holy Jihad in support of Gaza.
