Since his inauguration on January 20, 2025, the Dow has declined by 13.3%, the Nasdaq by 19.67%, and the S&P 500 by 14.73%.
Today's market decline was triggered by his public attack on the Federal Reserve Chair, whom he called a "loser." Such language is not only unbecoming of a president but also deeply unsettling for financial markets that rely on stability and confidence.
His aggressive tariff wars have already wiped out over $10 trillion from major markets globally—a loss equivalent to more than half the GDP of the European Union, according to Bloomberg.
Once a vocal advocate for stock market performance during his first term, he now presides over a historic economic downturn fueled by his unpredictable policies and inflammatory rhetoric.

Interesting. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time today, but I do have a slightly different take on the issue. I’ll definitely check out the White House website when I get a chance.SARS COV 1 was defeated easily without a single shot. SARS COV 2 is different. It was trained to infect humans in the Wuhan lab for almost a year before it leaked out. Don't be foolish. SecDef Hegseth was an O-4. Further, as history has shown, he is not the first SecDef to have NOT been a former flag officer. Several former SecDefs were civilians and a couple, including Robert McNamara and Leon Panetta who were of similar rank as Hegseth during their time in service.
My own personal opinion is a flag officer as SecDef is not always the best choice depending on the times. Once you get to O-6 and above, you are more politician than you are officer. A lot of ass gets kissed to get that next promotion.
I knew a couple O-6s who did not get a star simply because they refused to "play the game".
