The problem is that our nation has always offered a hand of friendship, only to have it chewed off. When your administration decides to put your baying mobs in their place and openly accept the existence of Pakistan (instead of labelling it a perpetual Nehruvian travesty), then we can negotiate all things in good faith, without prejudice.

What yiu said don't hold any value "good faith negotiation during peacetime is welcomed by all Pakistanis" When during peace time you guys don't even respond to Indian request for negotiations on iwt.

Pakistan offered trade renewal. Hindustan refused. Pakistan offered simple steps like cricket tours. Hindustan refused. Pakistan offered talks on Kashmir. Hindustan refused. You are deluding yourself when you claim "peacetime" was even in existence at any point during Modi's tenure.

Did Modi say he would attack Pakistan? I haven’t come across any such statement so far.

However, I can point to references where discussions on Pakistani national channels framed the suspension of the water treaty as an “act of war,” even going as far as suggesting that Pakistan’s only option “nuke Delhi now.”

That said, I know you well understand how political dynamics work in both countries — statements by ministers or politicians often don’t reflect actual policy. Personally, I don’t place much weight on such rhetoric.

Coming to the real issue: India doesn't need to act impulsively, but it must decisively neutralize armed elements — labeled terrorists not just by India, but also by other countries becase of terror attacks. It’s time to clean house, and do it the hard way, especially when we’re aware that around 300 armed individuals are still active in Kashmir and seem to operate with implicit approval.

For now, the focus is likely to shift toward eliminating these threats.
