Frankly speaking, the major security challenges India faces today largely stem from China. Our current need for 42 air force squadrons, more capable SSBNs, aircraft carriers, and other military enhancements are mostly because of the perceived threat from China.
However, it’s also true that China has never directly created internal problems within India. Despite the territorial disputes and the 1962 war, China has never supported armed groups or terrorist activities against us.
This makes them very different from Pakistan.
Indians generally have a negative perception of China because of the military threat, the territorial claims, and the cultural and linguistic differences. There isn’t a sense of people-to-people connection with China like some efforts, such as "Aman ki Asha," tried to create between India and Pakistan.
When it comes to Pakistan, although India and Pakistan share many cultural and linguistic similarities, the Indian public still holds a strongly negative view. This is mainly because of the history of violence and terrorist attacks since 1989, where many incidents have been linked back to Pakistan.
For example, my own child, who is just 13 years old, is already developing a negative perception of Pakistan, simply because whenever there’s a terrorist incident, Pakistan’s name is often associated with it. He doesn’t even fully understand the deeper border and political issues yet, but the emotional impression is already forming.

if you thinks about it, perspectively how can a country like India with ten times the resources and man power, no saction or embargo what so ever, fucked up the airforce this hard, the best homemade jet you can comes up is tejas, even that are not fully delivered, no clear advantage on other force multiplier as well, this is absolute incompetence.Hello Sir
