I just read this post now as I am going through the posts - why is India furious at Pakistan? All roads lead elsewhere...
He just feels angry because of something else. Leave it.

I've never been a fan of PPP but Bilawal has developed well. He is not a uncle with broken english.

IK was good in his younger years but his english really went downhill in his 60s.

First time our angle is communicated properly and a very direct verbal attack on Modi.

I wish they could make him PM but his cabinet would not be PPP.

Pakistan HAS to upgrade all JF-17 to block 3, that should be top priority and china could provide necessary equipment almost instantly. After that, raising the numbers with more potent and capable platforms untill you reach at least 300 or so of air fighter interceptors and air dominance fighters.

I think the structural changes mean that the Block II cannot be upgraded to Block III's, ie to support an AESA radar since there are extra cooling requirements. I think a better upgrade would be to allow for targeting information from a J10CE/Block III/AEW to be relayed to Block II's that allow for PL15Es to be deployed, ie co-operative targeting.

If wants to, or needs to bulk up a bit before J-35A's appear, the JF17C's would be cheaper and better than the J10CEs now that the PL15s are integrated and available.

Maybe PFX programme can offer an AESA solution that fits in with what Block II's jets can be upgraded to ?
