Not really. We're at war, let the enemy make the mistakes - meanwhile we defang them. If it continues and we achieve air superiority, we can push back their forces, we can destroy their military infrastructure and we can bomb RSS HQ's at will.

I feel the exact same way as you - but it'd be daft to ignore the danger and go for the soft targets, risking opportunity and assets alike.
