DPM Ishaq Dar i think rushed for ceasefire, its well known that Indian Armed Forces and Govt. want this to Drag the Crisis to more the 15 days. As think Pakistan will implod from within economically.

Ceasefire stops exchanges but does not take down the military alert which is very expensive. they have calculated Pakistan can not afford this War.

Firstly.. let's all pray to Allah swt for keeping our heads high... this could have been ugly and coming out unscathed from the dogfight was pure Allah's blessing on us.

now, let's introspect,
Facts.
1.
no one will fight your war. you fight alone. not many wud even stand openly for you. respect and acknowledge the ones who do.
2.
We need to invest into more ELINT/ESM. Turkish Hava SOJ or similar from China etc are definitely needed.
3.
we need to invest in improving air defence. This is needed yesterday.
All airbase are currently vulnerable to some extent. what India managed to achieve last night and today is unacceptable esp. when we were expecting it.
4.
We need a land based CIWS for drone. Mobile ones for shoot and scoot. Chinese have a few options and they can be requested to upgrade and meet our requirements.
5.
send students abroad in whatever Tom dick and harry fields possible. Get master courses seats in univ. in trafitional places plus from Korea, China, portugal to China. Even if we get dedicated seats, facilitation of students with or without scholarships will do wonders in a decade
6.
Last, most controversial... i am convinced thunders need to evolve. A new block (which will have to be purely with our money) or a block 3+.

This war is not over. we have just bought us 2 to 4 years at max. The next one won't be like this one.

Our pilots did one of the amazing jobs that's already being discussed everywhere. That happened at first 10 mins of enemy attack when we shot down 5 of their jets. It was our defensive action. We were defending our soil against onslaught aggression. Learn to understand this point. For next 4 days, india completely hammered us. They crossed every red line, they attacked our major airbases throughout the entirety of our country, deep inside our country and above all they attaked our major cities Lahore, Karachi, RWP, Islamabad, Peshawar, Bhawalpur everywhere... Our tit-for-tat response should have struck their cities deep inside india like Mumbai, Kolkata etc. We never even dared to touch their redlines. They struck our major airbases, central air command bases, norther air command bases, so finally after 4 days we started our retaliation and struck their empty airstrips near our border (all within 120 km range). We never struck deep inside india on any major indian airbase. We never struck any major indian city deep inside india.

Difference is obvious we got hammered for 4 days, india crossed every redline. we never touched their redlines. We got brilliant pilots, brave soldiers but we have leadership crisis. India was emboldened to attack us at our major cities only because they saw lack of leadership in Pakistan.

I have always said that Pakistan military capabilities are immense. Our soldiers and battlefield commanders are battle-hardened and brilliant. We could have stopped this gross violation of our nation at day 01 by giving timely response. We let them hit us and we eventually gave a mild response that did not included any projectile going towards indian major cities or any major airbase deep in india. Our strike was symbolic and non-escalatory. These are realities on ground. If we had not a lack of leadership then it was impossible for Bharat to ridicule our sovereignty like that. Hindutva only listens to strength.

You can see maps below and understand that they struck at entirety of Pakistan and our response was limited to border areas and empty airstrips near loc.

Bottomline is, my heart bleeds that we let Hinduva terrorist state to attack our major cities without consequences at their own major cities only because of incompetence & total lack of our leadership.

Lahore, RWP, Karachi, Bhawalpur = Mumbai, KolKata, New Dehli, Hyderabad.

They attacked our major cities and crossed this redline. We did not attacked any of their city.

They attacked major airbases deep inside Pakistan. We didn't even touched any indian airbase deep inside india. We only hit empty airstrips across border.

Our only success which was brilliant was our pilots shooting down indian jets and that's all.

My friend, numerous Indian bases were hit, we went after them hook line and sink

We roasted their posts on the LoC and deeper, we hit depos and Indian bases


BOTH countries have significant militaries, do you not think we cannot strike each other

Again the Pakistani military made a choice, they would go after military targets and not go for civilian targets and cities

That's a choice, we can disagree with it, but they military valiantly went after our enemy, that's all we can ask

Even if they were to use their AF, they would probably be using their Standoff munitions from long range, and for any pilot to be captured would require for them to enter PAF controlled airspace. With the state of social media, it would be quite impossible to hide the wreckage. Thats just my POV though, I could be wrong.

- However, supposing the pilot story is correct, why not bring her forward now that India has broken the US brokered cease fire deal ?

There is no pilot captured! we have thick people on our side too who believe whatever fantasy they read on twitter!

Because if we ever had her, we probably released her immediately when the ceasefire was announced as part of a covert arrangement. Now India breaks the ceasefire.

It may even be the case that India asked for the "ceasefire" solely to enable safe transfer of this high value captive. Naturally, they did what they do best straight after.
