Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Someone please find the national interest article which declared an unequivocal victory - it appears a deletion effort against it is underway
i just read it, it was fine, let me go back

Massive credit to our armed forces especially PAF without whom we would be in a big trouble, the respect the we got today from the world is the direct result of their bravery. Also we should all thank Allah to bless us with this victory even tough we as a nation are full of mistakes.

Wow - I did not believe fully the female rafale pilot story 'fully', but from that video you can see it is a woman ( the head/hair knot is the give away ). So why would Pakistani soldiers be pointing a gun at a woman ?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Gender wont matter in a situation like this - she would be seen as a threat and a combatant

always starting from a defeated mentality. towing the western narrative that has been fed to them over the ages during exchabge programs..meetings and trainings.
pathetic

Eventually - the one who blares the loudest can claim victory for the masses.
Militaries however, will look to their attaches, proof and otherwise to get a real picture.
Masses are mostly ignorant and go by the official narrative.

There is no chance that either would say anything to give credit to the other or any benefit of doubt.

I am sure that both sides conducted few things very well and few things weren’t done well.

But look at the official briefings by both the sides.

No losses to my side and all the losses to the other side. Whatever other side claimed is fake, while I am angel of truth.

This stance is fine to a certain extent. No beyond.

You can do better as a think tank.
I understand your support to your side, then you could have kept quiet for the time being and opened up later.

As a Think Tank, your assessment that losses were there only on one side, in clashes of this scale, might make people stop having faith in the word Think Tank.

There are bound to be losses of significant proportions on both the sides.

Those can’t be compared objectively, one to one, but overall the damage on ground is likely to be evenly comparable.

Fanboys and Bhakts have a different mindset and they turn a loss also in victory but anyone with a level head would know this fact.
Does 5-0 mean anything to you?

AI. There is no such program found.

Actually in my youth I had an idea of a flag for this ideal fantasy, it had a black stipe next to the white one to represent Afghanistan, but then I grew up lol
It's been a disappointment, hearing all we've heard from the Afghans, just being honest.
The issue is that Pakistan 'appears' weak, helpless and harmless, the underdog always at the recieving end. Ever since 1971 the Indians have hallucinated themselves into believing that they are some big power and not the butthole of this planet. The Indian hate-packed propaganda against Pakistan, coupled and helped with the zionist planned and funded anti-Pakistan propaganda of the Zionist-Western ruling-class (aka mainstream) media ever since the controlled demolition of 9/11 has not helped things either. It has created a perception and has told people what to believe, hate, respect, accept and reject.

The world not only respects the powerful and the strong but also loves the ones percieved as powerful. This is why Pakistan needs to go back to being belligerant towards India. For every one attack India sponsors in Pakistan, Pakistan needs to do two.

The Pakistani govts full of garbage scum like the PMLNs/PPPs do not help either. They are the worst of any traitors to any people in the entire human history and people tend to hate and despise the ones that tolerate such traitors.

The big war is coming and it will change a lot of things. So fear not and have a little faith.

I've always said, once China catches up to Western/Russian industrially, technologically, scientifically, they'll run so fast, no one can catch up.

They're just so used to rapid advancements. And they have just got started

China is now ahead of most countries in a lot of key scientific/technological domains. The few that remains (gas turbine metallurgy, optics, lithography) will also close the gap very soon.

Speed is life in China. Believe me, China's speed is real. I work here.

I am so very proud of our brave men and women of the Pakistan armed forces. Today they made the nation proud, putting their lives on the line for this soil they call home, for the people they call brothers and sisters, upholding their oath to the motherland and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

We should hold our heads up high for standing tall in the face of a stronger adversary and delivering such a resounding beating to the enemy that they were forced to come to the negotiation table. I hope some here understand what this means - what Pakistan has achieved.
  • Pakistan has restored deterrence credibility in the region!
  • Pakistan demonstrated its capacity and capability full spectrum self-defence
  • Pakistan has demonstrated that if India causes harm to Pakistan - we will repay that three fold
  • Pakistan has left India's aspirations of "hegemony" have been shattered
  • Pakistan has shattered any illusion India had of dominance over Pakistan
  • Pakistan jolted India out of their pipe dream obsessions of "Surgical Strikes" by launching AERIAL strikes by PAF INSIDE INDIA.
  • Pakistan has slapped India out of it's dream of "New Baharat" and her hegemony in the region
  • Pakistan has demonstrated that the India's dream of "Limited War" will remain a DREAM
  • Pakistan's strong diplomatic maneuvering public relations, and lobbying has resulted in Pakistan forced India to realise it doesn't have the Diplomatic advantage it thought it did.
  • Pakistan was vindicated that despite India lobbying to have the IMF trance to be frozen, India was left frustrated.
  • Pakistan has exposed the Indian Media for the whole world to see as a factory of lies and fallacies.
  • Pakistan has exposed India under Modi's vile regime for the whole world to see as a sponsor of communal violence, hate politics and cross border state sponsored terrorism.
Finally, if anyone is unhappy with how our brave boys fought today - I want you to take a good look at this picture and understand what this picture meant when these LIONS left Pakistani Airspace to face the enemy this morning.

The measure of deterrence has been re-established which has always been our doctrine.

PAKISTAN ZINDBAD

Great post! And thank you so much for so professionally, tirelessly and still passionately managing this thread!!
Okay, so what I have learned about the 72 hours leading to the ceasefire: After the initial exchange where the Indian fighter jets were shot down, India indicated willingness to de-escalate. International pressure on Pakistan was already being applied and as Pakistan was considering options, India kept sending drones and kept probing Pakistan's defenses. The plan was to make Pakistan a mistake where a Pakistani fighter jet could be shot down--apparently that's some strategic victory for India. Haha! But Pakistan knew that and didn't let PAF jets to be too vulnerable. India finally lost the patience to Pakistan's 'strategic patience' in early morning hours of 10 May, local time and launched missiles on PAF bases to try to destroy Pakistani assets. And that was the trigger where Pakistan's own missiles were launched to more targets in India and that must have established the fear of God in India so they finally accepted the American ceasefire plan.
In my mind, Pakistan is a clear winner and in my mind Modi will be pay a political price for this. Going forward, Pakistan should work on holding India answerable to IWT provisions, Pakistan should build water infrastructure in Pakistan on emergency basis, and of course Pakistan should replenish and strengthen its military hardware.

PS. From some videos posted here, India suffered many casualties of soldiers along the LoC; hopefully we will know the accurate count soon.

Another good try at selling this as some sort of draw, but nobody outside India’s borders is buying that BS

You'll find most Pakistanis receptive to your idea, but it's your lot that's the issue, perhaps talk with them then come to us. That might be easier lol

There will be hard pills to swallow for both populations but the long-term benefits will be for all its people.

Afghanistan's mineral richness could help kick-start a strong and robust economy with the human capital of Pakistan. The country would have strategic depth - a capital in Ghazni (also very symbolic) would be at least 500km away from any front the nation might face. The stupid conflict over the durand border would end etc.

Many problems to overcome. to name a few
1. Corruption must be eradicated from Pakistan
2. Afghanistan is much more religious (some policies towards education needs to change)
3. Would the Pakistani deep-state be willing to relocate the political and economic capital to Ghazni
4. Would Pakistan be willing to relocate majority of its strategic military assets to Bagram, Kandahar, Ghazni etc. (refueling aircrafts, AWACs, Nukes, transports). The heart of the country would shift westward.

Many challenges but alas they have to be overcome. I will at least work towards this when I return to Afghanistan in the next 3-5 years. Having Imran Khan leading Pakistan and Sirajuddin Haqqani leading Afghanistan would make it a lot easier.
