Wonder if the numbers of J10Cs being acquired will increase after this? Also, will PAF consider the twin seater for deep strike and EW? Or maybe a derivative of the J16? I don't buy the whole IP issue anymore for not exporting Chinese Flankers to Pakistan...what can Russia do? They are firmly reliant on China now and in their camp, not the other way around.

I think the prospect of J-35 probably is the holdout or slowdown factor in acquiring more J-10C. Otherwise, the order could have gone up before the conflict was in the offing. However, my feeling is, with this conflict, more J-10CP would be acquired to strengthen airpower until J-35s are inducted in substantial numbers and its squadrons are operationalized. Jeffery's numbers need to be increased also.

Brother this is unacceptable. I believe this is where our squadron leader and airmen embraced martyrdom. Damage looks pretty bad and without doubt, if we had any assets inside, they'd me badly damaged. I sincerely hope this isn't the case.

All our major AF bases need to increase their Air-defence systems multi-fold.

You cannot protect all assets all the time or have a force shield that can protect against everything. The way forward has to also combine the same approach that Israel has taken with their F-35s which is they are stored underground, and not in HAS. Underground infrastructure could have protected against the terrorist attacks that a few years ago managed to get to the Erieye's..

An underground HAS may well be a lot cheaper than a new active IADS based system over the initial build and the long term.

Even Iran has started to go down this route.

So, ultra-high value assets like the Erieye should be stored underground and airbases modified for that capability. even a HAS can be targeted with hypersonic vehicles with enough energy to take out a HAS. That will be the next threat that Pakistan faces.

This is the issue now. The world can see it, experts confirm it, eyewitnesses confirm it and video footage confirms it. Indian Spokesman deny it.

This not only really damages their credibility, but goes some way to explaining why western media (previously tilting towards India in the past) was more open to explaining the Pakistani narrative., I have literally never seen such a pro Pak news repport by CNN.

This changing of world opinion is, arguabley, almost just as important to Pakistan as the 5 downed jets

That's what I been saying from very start. We can claim all we want, all the technical data means nothing to Indians. Since the Indian jets remains are within Indian territory, the ounce is on us, just not to rely on technical data, but bring in physical evidence, photos, satellite imagery, carefully scrutinised cockpit recording of dogfights. Undeniable proofs.

Plus, we must show the footage, clips, before and after, of all the bombing and missile attacks we have done over targets in India.

We are stuck in old school way of fighting wars, shrouded in unnecessary secrecy and we think it's cool to keep things under the wrap. The idea that "enemy knows" that is sufficient, no need to rub it in with imagery and vedios, that will reveal our super alien technologies! While other nations will bring in solid images/videos of the destruction they caused over their enemies.

Warfare is just not about weapons and their effective use, its now multi domain. Pyops play major part in imposing dominance over the enemy nations.

India will never admit anything, ounce is on us to show through imagery/videos to back up our claims, undeniable facts.

Pakistani's always like to shout "proof" "proof" at the top of their lungs. Fact is that India and Pakistani citizens have presented ample photos/videos of destruction caused by strikes while there is no such proof of Pakistan's destruction.

90%+ posters suffer from selective amnesia where they claim that 5 Rafale's shot without proof but if India were to claim AWACS, F-16 and JF-17 then they are like where is the proof.

The truth is - India blew up airbases deep inside Pakistan while Pakistan couldn't return the favor.

British security and defense analyst Michael Clarke has said that Pakistan used Chinese technology, if the J-10C aircraft shot down the Rafale, it is really surprising.

He said that Pakistan used a Chinese-made anti-aircraft defense system during the Indian attacks. Michael Clarke said that I think India must have been surprised by Pakistan's technical capabilities.
