Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

clever, hand-off and 'in-conclusively' conclusive approach to give opportunity to India to take full opportunity to Pakistani case strong. As all parties know, there are no global courts and forums (like united nations) left to conclude on the matters.

There is some element of truth to this, but the key point remains, Pakistani upper class society needs to stop idolising and kissing American @ss. China along with our brave service men saved our @ss. We must be aware and ready for and further misadventure.

for **** sake, aisay chotium sulphate people are the one's who can just bark from keyboard, they will never let a chance to take a blow at their own people and forces

Pakistan laments continued Indian provocation over the Indus Water Treaty. As Pakistan has already termed the Indian actions as an act of war, technical issues would render the ceasefire obsolete.

It is imperative that Pakistan appraises World Bank on trajectory of the affairs and gravity of a global conflict.

After humiliating and befitting response from our forces BJP and RSS left only one option to war with Pakistan.

War in eminent.
Agreed, although Trump's involvement will definitely complicate a response for them. Trump has been unable to get a ceasefire in Ukraine and Pak/India Ceasefire has been his biggest achievement yet.

Trump takes things really personally and such a move that directly embarrasses Trump could badly damage India/US relations. Further damage would be dealt to India in the trade talks as Trump seemed to have linked trade to the ceasefire. Trump really takes things personally.

India knew pretty well that they are agreeing to ceasefire at bad terms and they knew how much bashing they will get for it domestically. Still seems like they had no choice but to agree and stop in a really bad position. They are probably just on damage control by convincing their population that things are not done. Things will be even more complicated if the S400s were damaged (which is seeming and more likely now). They would be deprived of most of their defensive capabilities right now, for any new offence, if that was true.

Interesting reading the criticisms of Pakistani military, which are obviously few in the overall context. My opinion is that their field performance, optics, narratives, feedback were all excellent.

Yes, lessons must be learned in an operational sense as we simply did not have the resources to counter certain threats. Maybe we were "lucky" to a degree that many Brahmos missiles missed. Perhaps they will counter our surveillance next time so we cannot listen in to their chatter - that gave us a huge edge in A2A combat. Somehow we need to maintain that.

If I was to make a single criticism, it is the repeated effort to point out that: "we locked more jets and could have shot more down but showed restraint".

For all the praise and admiration I have directed towards our military, I'm afraid this is hands down complete garbage and self-detrimental.

We said the same thing in 2019 - perhaps, just perhaps someone in the overall meta back then did  appreciate that, and maybe it helped de-escalation efforts back then.

But to repeat that mistake in this 2025world of unchecked aggression and Trumpenomics is a huuuuge error on our part.

2 possibilities, both equally erroneous:

1. We lied about additional lock ons, simply as propaganda to spread fear in the IAF. Why lie about this? They will return and follow their escalation plan, wwhether or not we can convince them about locking 5 extra and showing "mercy".

2. We truly locked 5 extra and showed mercy. In this case, again, genuine showing of mercy to a numerically superior and aggressive enemy is ridiculous in tactical and strategic terms.

To add, clearly we DID lock and fire at some additional targets as 1 unexploded PL15 is found.

In summary, we gain NOTHING from repeating this "mercy" process here in the world we currently live in (whether it is propaganda or genuine). Next time, lock and drop. No hesitation please.

They melted down within a couple of hours in each bout even during the crisis period! How long will they last in a war?

They lose hearts and courage to get into a mental and physical paralysis seeing a couple of failures even at the tactical level! How can they run a strategic war?

I agree, where an enemy is attacking you with 100+ jets, you'd deter them with as many kills as possible. Especially given that we had the element of surprise this time. We could have partially crippled their Airforce as a huge deterrent.

Saving 5 planes out of 10 locked ones, when 100+ of them are attacking you, seems a very odd choice. It really infuriated me too, but then again, thinking about it; it was the decision of the military. They probably know things that I do not know about.

I would again say, this is all a part of the psychological operations, part truth and part tall claims.

I have of course no insight into how these things work in real-time, and therefore whether there is really ever a luxury to say oh no we will spare that one, five is enough, in a real-time situation, however it might well be plain and true that some were potentially within a kill or shoot range, at some point in time over the total exchange and you can therefore generously add that to the potential kill list

It's maybe even worth trying to imagine, how the other side pilots might be thinking in the next air combat, and what affect these comments will have at the next exchange, you know every small iota or scintilla of doubt or confusion could be deadly, so it's clearly all fun and games. The Indians have to take care here that they don't delude themselves into a state of internal demoralization

We should stop all celebration now ...its been 7th day now.... get back to war room. Not only Local channels but also Western sources hitting Indians suspicious war mongering ...May 18 is not far away.

Pakistanis just loving glazing themselves :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

If they attack again it will be instant nuclear war. It will be a pleasure to exterminate a billion jeets.
