So I have seen multiple gora so called “defense” analysts now pushing this theory on X that IAF had launched a number of Banshee/Firebee type target drones along with the strike package during the initial strike. That is what PAF shot down.

Let's remember something. The Europeans don't like to hear that their fighters got spanked by a Chinese fighter.
China is supposed to be the enemy of the West and hence it can never get an upper hand versus the Western established order.
In reality China is at a minimum at par.

Their airforce is in a much bigger trouble than people could have imagined before the conflict, so, what is their plan now against China if they still wants to fight a two front war.
They better move fast but India's bureaucracy, because in a few years, our fifth gen platform is likely to close to a thousand, another few years after that, they will see two freaking UFO flying around with CCA drones which unlike US's doctrine, they are not expendable cheap loyal wingman but expensive unmanned fighter jets that shared kits and parts with two manned platform according to the cheif designer and I am not even mentioning about the next gen munition, sensor fusion, force multiplier and the whole eco system which builds at home without any integration problem.
The clock is ticking and it's not looking good for India's two front war.

No one else has repeated this. If this was true it would have echoed and re-carried to other people and channels too. To many know it alls would have repeated it to look knowledgeable but they haven’t. This is the sole video that said this, he seems have gotten confused with the nur khan incident of the c130. Saab hit would be to big too keep under wraps, not even IAF claimed anything like this so that should tell you everything….
