These are emergency tenders five days ago the central govt agreed to release 40,000 crore to the Indian military for emergency procurement.

question is, if they can even get these.....ukraine itself is starving for weapons to fight the russians, and there's israeli (predicted) attack intention on iran......so drones may b in short supply........since theyre now in high demand.

Even if they get it, they better be careful if they plan to launch them at Pak. It will escalate and things will get very ugly.
But for now i guess things are looking normal?

Apparently, things are returning to normalcy as yesterday there was alot of air activity on western bases of IAF. Sorties towards eastern / central bases. Undoing the earlier re-deployments as it appears.

Could also be rotating airframes but then Trump has put them in a bind

And they have the luxury to burn $12-15B and ramp up quickly.

It can't be fast. Russia itself only has 27 Su-57, and can only produce 5 - 6 aircraft a year. On the one hand, this shows that Russia itself is not very satisfied with this aircraft. In addition, against the backdrop of the current Russia-Ukraine conflict, production capacity is a major problem. This is not something that money can solve. India doesn't have many choices.
The F-35 is subject to too many restrictions and cannot be used independently, so Indians don't want it.

that is true as well. Russian supply chain is notoriously unreliable.

Considering the number of tenders being floated by them it seems they want to take another few years to rearm & regroup.
