So with the rumors of India urgently ordering another battery of S400 swirling around, what do you guys make of it?
If PAF was able to effectively neutralize it either electronically or kinetically why would India sink another $1.5B into it or it did perform effectively and they are looking to bolster their ranks in wake of Rafale failure? or they are just grasping at straws right now?

Did TPS43 not sign up for the new forum?

It just means either S-400 was effective in keeping PAF fighters confined to its own airspace and possibly surviving (but needing to relocate) so India wants to now buy another.

Or it could mean India feels the current number is insufficient and it’s ordered a new one plus spares for upkeep or repair.

Interesting especially given that the X 31P was only acquired by Indian Airforce in 2019 - both the X 31P and RVV-AE (export version of the Russian R77) are radar homing Air-To-Air missiles for the MiG and SU aircraft.
