The question you should be asking is why Eastern European nations want to join NATO and the western world. I’m sure it has nothing to do with their subjugation under Soviet rule and communism.

Ukraine has every right to join the western world.
What's Monroe Doctrine ? Would you allow any American country to fall into Chinese and russian sphere of influence ? What was the Cuban crisis all about ? West has mastered the art of Orwellian double speaking.

With what? What are they going to hit government buildings and IADS? Russia has tried every conventional means to end this war and failed. They tried freezing them during winter by taking out their electric plants and so on.
This drone attack , though well planned and audacious , is a one off thing ... Won't be repeated at this scale .....instead of gloating think about the consequences.

Isnt this exactly what NATO and its allies have been doing since decades now? Just look at your favourite poodle Israel.

Dont throw rocks when you live in a glasshouse.

Ukraine has every right to make its own independent choices and freedom to align with the West. Because it seeks that, it’s being murdered and subjugated by the Russians.

Stop comparing this to the war in Gaza. Ukraine didn’t murder 1,200 Russian citizens.

Ukraine seeks freedom from Russian oppression. That’s the path Eastern Europe has chosen, and Belarus would do the same if it wasn’t ruled by a Russian puppet.

Face reality, no one wants to be aligned with Russia. Ukraine has made that clear enough.

Irony.
Level of hypocrisy from baby killers and genociders.
You wonder why mods allowing keep such multi faced hypocrites in this forum???

In the same vein , Palestinians don't want to live under Israeli subjugation.....is it too much to ask for similar standards ?

A close friend and coworker of mine is from Belarus. He's absolutely adamant the only reason Lukashenko remains in power is because of Putin.

They cheer like a mofo because the Taliban and North Vietnamese held out and we eventually withdrew.

Some of these people here have relatives who were instrumental to the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Look how they cheered when just a few weeks ago their own small country beat down their Indian cousins.

Look how they cheer on the Hootis in their fight with Israel and the US.

And now, the Ukes continue to surprise the world by wiping a soiled diaper across the face of Putin, and they want the Russians to annihilate Ukraine. You'd think they would instead be cheering on Ukraine to resisting the Russian bear.

Bizarre mannerisms on this forum. Very bizarre.

Their logic is absurd.

US invades Iraq= bad
Russia invades Ukraine= good

Because it’s some revenge on the US? Or for Israel invading Gaza even though they were attacked first by Hamas even though that war started a year and a half after the Ukraine War?

If their whole angle is revenge on the US, then Russia has failed spectacularly.

Ukraine is now aligned with the US, NATO has expanded further, and the Russian military humiliated.

The Lukashenko regime is notorious for torturing dissenters and he’s clearly in the same vein as Yanukovych and supported by Putin.

The recent Ukrainian attack on Russian strategic bombers (such as the Tu-95 and Tu-160) can be compared to India’s suspected involvement in sabotaging Pakistan’s AEW&C (Airborne Early Warning and Control) aircraft — specifically the Minhas Airbase attack in 2012 and the Badaber attack in 2015, both carried out by terrorist proxies reportedly supported from Afghan soil with Indian backing, according to Pakistani sources.

India’s objective was to undermine Pakistan’s aerial surveillance capabilities — and they achieved a tactical advantage. Similarly, the West viewed Russia’s nuclear-capable strategic bombers as a major threat. To reduce this threat, Ukraine has now been used as a frontline proxy to damage Russia’s strategic air fleet.

These two operations share clear similarities:
• Targeting the strategic aviation capabilities of an adversary,
• Using proxy or allied forces to carry out the attacks,
• And ultimately, the primary beneficiary is the force behind the proxy.

Who benefits from the destruction of these bombers?

The West, particularly NATO and the United States, benefits the most. These bombers were capable of delivering nuclear payloads across continents, posing a serious threat to Western deterrence systems. Their destruction:
• Weakens Russia’s second-strike capability,
• Shifts strategic balance temporarily in NATO’s favour,
• Demonstrates the power of modern hybrid and proxy warfare.

They use those trucks.
