Iran has been fighting Israel/West for decades , at great cost to itself. That takes courage at a minimum. India isnt as advanced as Israel/West and is right next door. There isnt really a comparison to what Iran faces versus what we face.

That's the problem for you kids. Iran used to fight Israel through its proxies, not one on one like today else Israel would had decimated them like Egypt Syrian long time back. Iranian proxies game has been over now so it's time for Iran to face the music and on their own mainland.

Iran has been over confident about their military capabilities which clearly lacks modernization. They should had backed out proxy wars in 90s itself. Things would had been much better for them today. No economic restriction, and certainly no issues purchasing weapons of their liking. They always had so much oil, imagine they would had been competing Dubai, Doha, Jeddah today.

These countries have also been indecisive, but when it comes to survival, they are very firm. The Middle East depends on Iran. Southeast Asia, South America, and Africa are all watching.

And this is why you need a decent air force. You think Israel would be able to do this if Iran had a hundred Su-30s, or even a few dozen Su-57s which Russia has been trying to get Iran to commit to?

I dont wanna hear about how Iran has a "multiple layered air defense system", because clearly it failed.

Iran's retaliation is once again not gonna kill a single Israeli, and I have no doubt that they'll just launch a bare minimum amount of missile and drone strikes again.

I have no faith in the Iranian government that they'll actually do any damage of significance.

This.. If Iran had an airforce lets say even at the size of Kuwaits there would have been an extreme dog-fight over Iranian air space. As Kuwait has 27 F-18 Hornets and 15 Euro Typhon fighters with Air to Air missiles range upto 200-300 km.

Iran has neglected it´s airforce and this is all it comes down too

Surely Iran is not dumb to have all their fissile materials and nuclear logistics in one place. They would have redundancy in place.
