The Deep State would have to physically remove Trump. But I don't think that's likely despite as many 'JFK' movies one might have watched. The President is well gearded and informed and there are many loyalists and informants available to a President. I don't think people really know the power a US President has: Despite all the talk of the division of power between the House, the Senate and the Presidency, an American President, through his personal inclinations, drives a lot of policies and in general, for the last several decades, an American President can be a dictator on many things except extreme acts like launching a nuke.
My point being: An American President often exercises more power than theoretically a large part of the Congress standing against him because the Congress is so increasingly partisan after Nixon that the legislatures are supine. An American President can be as dictatorial as North Korea's Kim on many things!

Believe it or not, even the US deep state is happy with Trump. Trump is controversial and he does things in a brute manner. The Democrats stab you with the dagger from behind and this isn't always efficient in certain scenario's. In public, the deep state will pretend that Trump is a loose cannon blah blah, but behind closed doors they are quite happy. Trump has value and the Democrats are more than happy how he is dealing with Iran and other difficult cases. The Democrats are the nice guy who stab you from behind and Trump does all the hard dirty work in brute fashion. Either way, win win for US deep state.
