The commander of the IRGC Air Force, Brig. Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Iran overnight, the IDF announces.

According to the military, the top brass of the IRGC Air Force was killed alongside him as they met in an underground command center to prepare to attack Israel.

The command center was struck by fighter jets, the IDF says.

I understand the emotional frustration behind your message, and I agree that unity in the Muslim world is important. However, true unity cannot be built on selective memory or blind loyalty. Accountability is not division -- it’s the foundation of strength.

When certain states or actors within the Muslim world actively harm fellow Muslims through proxies, direct attacks, or subversive policies, we must call that out. Staying silent in the name of "unity" only enables more harm.

The West learned painful lessons after two devastating world wars -- and their unity today is built on difficult introspection, mutual respect, and structured cooperation. We must be willing to reflect and improve, not just rally around a flag when convenient.

Calling out betrayal or aggression is not betrayal -- it’s a demand for principled, sincere unity based on justice, not emotion.

Not sure what else the Iranians could have done to protect themselves because they are not up against it just Israel. But one thing is clear that Iran’s over-reliance on ballistic missiles is catastrophic. I never understood why Iran never focused on better weapons from Russia and China. Ballistic missiles are a dead end. While Israel may not have destroyed the missile bases, it does seem it has destroyed all of the entrances, which means Iran cannot respond ?

If the command Centre is done, then they’re done, nothing can happen now so there is no retaliation I believe
