There is a lot of infrastructure at an airfield that makes the thing viable, im not talking about the landing/takeoff strip. There are facilities for refueling, storage of munitions, tools, aircraft shelters/hangers etc etc.

the only face saving aspect of IRI was it's resistance and military power , it shattered in one day and against Israel not even USA . so it's losing its creditability fast .

It does look like Israel used its submarines to launch cruise missiles into Iran aswell, and may well be the ones that targeted the leadership via this method.

The last 2 Iranian responses also took days and most of us thought there would be none..and then BOOM..

The thing is Iran's AD and critical infrastructure is being continuously bombed.

Israel used shock and awe straight out of America's playbook, taking out the commanders in the first hours of the conflict, Mossad operatives disabled AD's leading to Israel having total air control which is the western way of warfare.

Either Iran attacks now or attrition will set in faster then their only choice is to surrender.

The thing is, is there political will for a larger conflict? US might directly get involved, a invasion will be disastrous for Iran.
