Any proper functioning professional military would have a chain of command already built in with the next person automatically taking over. They would have leaders in C&C centres ready to execute existing plans, and SOPs without needing the blessing of any one person.

This is why 1 person rule is soo bad, and why democracy and proper institutions are important.

It's been effectively decapitated. I suspect there will be some sort of retaliation. But it will be very weak and basically a face saving measure.

Iranian regime is basically done.

I wonder who Israel will attack next after Iran. I suspect Lebanon and Yemen. Yemen may be nuked by the Israeli because of the lack of infrastructure targets.

After that... All of Middle East is for the taking. I suspect the Sinai will be taken from Egypt as well and a large part of Syria.
