It would, but its likely either the F-16s or F-15s, which are far more numerous. I doubt Israel would risk losing its very limited F-35s on such a risky gamble.

F35 is developed for this kind of missions not F15 or F16 .... now the fact is that AD is slowly being restored, and they don't have air impunity over Iran sky anymore ...
