Iran had approx 3k missiles at the start.

If on day one half were used for SEAD and the other half for precision strikes on Israeli nuclear and economic targets, this war would be over. But Iran seems to be making the same mistake as Hezbollah, only using its missiles for psychological warfare and leverage that will never be utilized.

Iranian leadership doesn't understand that deterrence will not work anymore. That ship sailed a long time ago when Israelis killed Iranian scientists with remote machine guns, assassinated Hamas Chief in the heart of Tehran, and when Hezbollah turned out to be a paper tiger.

The Israelis are so confident in Iran's weakness that they have launched a 2-week long war and openly declared it.

In this case, it's probably real.

Eveey respected analysts for the last 2 decades has said Israel does NOT have the capability of destroying Iran's nuclear facilities, and only partially damaging them. Even the US would only partially succeed, if they joined the air campaign against Iran.

Iranians specifically but these facilities to be resilient BECAUSE they expected the US or Israel to try and destroy them. They learned from the Syrian situation.
