On thing i took from all the interceptions and misses was that , THAAD, Patriot, Arrow, and David’s Sling have demonstrated around 80–85% interception success, and that too with the support of multiple layered air defense systems across countries like Jordan. That might be adequate against Iran’s relatively limited missile arsenal, but against a large-scale ballistic missile (BMS), hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV), or ICBM barrage—especially from adversaries like China or Russia—or even North Korea , these systems may not be enough. At higher speeds and volumes, the performance gap becomes much more apparent. The U.S needs a hell of allot midcourse interceptors

Again, in a volley of missiles, something can slip through. THAAD have technical capability to intercept IRBM class targets and SM-6 is not in use so why mention it. No ballistic missile penetrated an American warship in any conflict situation so it should tell you how good AEGIS system is.
