I know many of us are discussing implications for Pakistan in the thread about the Israel - Iran conflict thread. To save that thread and to gather lessons in a separate thread so it is not lost throughout that thread, I have made this thread.

Everyone, please share the lessons Pakistan should learn in this thread. I also put this thread in the strategic forces sub-forum because the central goal of Israel seems to be decapitation of the Iranian nuclear potential, equipment and personnel.

Lesson 1: Have an airforce

That'd be all
Wrong
Lesson 1 - ensure people are taken care of
Lesson 2 - focus on actual development and not using name of Allah & Rasool everywhere as propoganda tools
Lesson 3 - Focus on awarding technical and economic competence and capabilities instead of focus on made up moral disasters to distract focus from governance issues.

Lesson 4 - don’t waste money making theme parks of Jahanum instead of promoting AI development

On a serious note

Airforce is vital and Pakistan has a good plan, alongside AWACS and EW, ground radars

A.D is vital, Including layered A.D against multiple threats from drones to missiles to jets

Development of drones, hypersonic missiles

Clear up of internal threats, let me a clarify a MERCILESS clear up of threats inside the country

Good military planning is essential, don't let old men who don't understand modern warfare guide your military planning

Make good allies and friends you can rely on
In wartime this is essential

Have back up facilities to produce vital equipment

Motivate and unite your population for war

Lesson 2: improve own air defence
Lesson 3: start making strategy for SEAD/DEAD on israel air defence
Lesson 4: start making hypersonic long range cruise missiles as well as HGVs and atleast until the end of next year pak should have atleast 500 of them to scare the shit out of israel

One major lesson from what is happening between Israel and Iran is that India is watching and taking notes. Modi, the Temu Netanyahu as Bilawal called him, is probably meeting Netanyahu in South Cyrus as we speak.

This is more directed towards the India threat, but as Netanyahu has pointed out that Pakistan is perceived by them as their long term threat, Pakistan will now have to build up the means to take the war in that direction if need be. But for God sake Pakistan, especially via the loose lips “defense minister” better not start taking about this.

Lesson 1: weed out the traitors or face the same fate as the Iranian leadership.
This is only possible when there is no oppression and there is free rule of law from which no one is exempted. And from free rule of law means cheap. There are mostly poor pakistani who cannot pay laywers and these muchalkas from judge

This is only possible when there is no oppression and there is free rule of law from which no one is exempted
Even outside of the rule of law is the corruption diverting resources that could be spent on breaking dependency on imports of daily needs and building up an economy and defense sector to deal with the threats the nation faces.

At the moment there is no rule of law in Pakistan, the traitors are roaming around
freely.

Pakistani's are going to have a big shock like Iran, if they don't get rid of them.
