Why ? Pakistan has enough problems defending itself from India.

If you look at "how" Iran is fighting this war, you can see they are fighting it badly... very badly. They are still restrained in their actions whereas Israel is not being restrained. If Iran is fighting the war like this, then why should Pakistan also not be restrained ???

If Iran does make it through this, then Pakistan can help them rebuild their armed forces, to become a proper professional armed forces with a proper war fighting doctrine. Right now, they have to make it through ... and that is on Iran.

If Pakistan is serious about supporting Iran, as the defense minister says, perhaps Pakistan should sent AWACS to Azerbaijan to orbit over their country. Azerbaijan is said to be friendly to Israel but against this war, perhaps they would allow it. At the very least we would know how capable enemy EW would be against our awacs and plan accordingly for the KJ-500.

Alternatively, Pakistan could send Chinese origin radars to Iran to fill radar gaps.

Both not offensive or even armed.

State of Pakistan is hard at work to both restore peace in the region and secure her strategic depth in Iran by opposing the regime change operation.

We may not be a practical democracy but we know how the theoretical side works in all it's 'righteous glory'.

What do you want a poor country in shambolic economic perils whose fighting a water conflict to do? Iran should sue for peace as international law favors her innocence.

Setting up AD network takes months of planning and execution. Its not a plug an play system.

And AWACS will do what exactly? Iranian AF is on the ground, not flying CAPs. They've probably taken multiple hits and in no way connected to our systems.

Most likely, Syria/Iraq Border refueling, then along iran coast to Azerbijan, and then refueling off the coast of Baku with permission of Azerbijan using NATO Brits/German reefulers over Capsean Sea.
