With an awacs, Iran could get warning to at least move its public away from likely targets. It’s not about target quality tracks but just early warning that an attack is coming. It’s about the PAF engaging in a mission of protecting the Iranian civilian population.

With the amount of subterfuge going on in Iran, whats to say the AWACS gets outed and Israel takes an opportunity to down it. Not to mention the diplomatic fallout; Israel will be accusing of Pakistan entering the war while our beloved Field Marshal is in the US.

@Persian Gulf - there have been multiple cargo flights from China where transponders were switched off prior to entry to Iran. @Panzerkiel - has been highlighting them.

Given the current security situation in Iran and associated risk for planes, those planes were not delivering boxes of Lychee and Durians ......

I wonder they are potentially dropping supplies to northern/western Iran. If indeed military related isn't it more risky during to constant Israeli attacks.

Eastern Iran seems to have few attacks and their missile bases are operating more normally there.

There are geopolitical realities: A State of Israel. Bad or good,yes it was established. Instead of working towards how to get back the pre-1967 borders or halting the expansion of settlements inside Palestinian Authority territory,when trying to solve this issue diplomatically,both Iran and certain notorious palestinian groups,only had one unrealistic demand: The destruction of the whole country. That was willingly denying the existence of a de facto State.
