What Pakistan could do, “in support of Iran” is fly its awacs over Baluchistan to watch if an attack vector is developing from that angle. Sealing the border can prevent saboteurs from escaping by sea or into Pakistan or Afghanistan. Beyond that would get Pakistan into more trouble than it can handle at the moment. Orbiting an awacs inside Pakistan can also just look like normal patrol, in a sector where heightened tensions exist.
