Lessons for Pakistan from the Israel/Iran conflict of June 2025

involve the private sector in arms manufacturing, rockets, electronics, missiles, defense sub-systems. and allow them to export stuff after strict compliance. will lead to an increase in indigenization as well as improved employment and economy. will also lead to more efficiency in arms manufacturing, tech advances and good manufacturing backbone, something our design houses lack
also, try to setup more electronics assembly and manufacturing plants. they are cheap and labour intensive. can easily substitute imports into Pakistan and start exporting to earn some dollars. China can off load some of their older plants here.

people must abandon Iran's national bad habits
1. Self-praise: bragging about their air defence technology and capability, bragging about their own self-developed fighter jets
2. Abandoning allies: Syria, Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthi armed forces, dare not speak out when allies need them, and shrink back
3. Two-faced: supported India in the 5.7 air battle, and only thought of Pakistan when they were beaten
4. Left and right swing: usually kneeling and licking Europe and the United States, when they were beaten, complaining that Russia and China did not help
5. bad mouth, but Weak and incompetent: invincible in mouth, saying the most ruthless words, and being beaten the most painfully; incompetent, usually offending neighboring neighbors, when they were beaten, they complained about neighboring neighbors

Iran's performance makes it hard for people to believe that they are a nation with a 5,000-year history.

Economy? Your neighbor is the world's factory, you take the goods to the whole world to sell, are you still afraid that you can't make the economy? As I said before, Pakistan has developed the entire China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, including ports, logistics, warehousing, transit goods, trade markets, and the entire economy has been transformed with the circulation of goods.
It is too easy for Pakistan to do business with billions of Muslims.

1. Advanced Air Defense Systems
  • Short-range: LY-80/HQ-16 (Chinese equivalent of Patriot PAC-2) – Already in service but needs expansion.
  • Medium-range: HQ-9B (Chinese S-300 equivalent) – Can counter cruise/ballistic missiles.
  • Long-range: FT-2000 anti-radiation missiles (to target enemy AWACS & jammers).
  • Indigenous Development: Accelerate Pakistan’s own "Iron Dome" project (possibly with Turkish or Chinese help).
2. Anti-Drone & Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems
Pakistan Needs:
  • Drone Jammers: Turkish Koral EW system or Chinese SWS2 counter-drone systems.
  • Laser Anti-Drone Systems: Like China’s Silent Hunter (30 kW laser, 4 km range).
  • AI-Based Detection: Deploy AI-powered radars to distinguish decoys from real threats.
3. Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD)
Pakistan Needs:
  • Chinese HQ-19 (Similar to THAAD) – For mid-course interception of ballistic missiles.
  • Indigenous BMD Program: Pakistan has tested Hit-8 & Hit-10 interceptors but needs faster deployment.
4. Hypersonic & Stealth Missiles
Pakistan Needs:
  • Hypersonic Glide Vehicle (HGV): Develop Mach 5+ missile (like China’s DF-17).
  • Ra’ad-II Air-Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) – Stealthy, nuclear-capable.
  • Babur-3 (Submarine-Launched Cruise Missile) – Ensures second-strike capability.
5. Space-Based Surveillance & Early Warning
Pakistan Needs:
  • PAKSAT-MM1 (Military Surveillance Satellite) – With Chinese assistance.
  • Over-the-Horizon (OTH) Radars – To detect incoming threats from 3,000+ km away.
6. Cyber Warfare & AI Defense
Pakistan Needs:
  • National Cyber Command (NCC) – To protect nuclear C2 systems.
  • AI-Powered Threat Detection – For real-time missile tracking.
Pakistan must fast track indigenous R&D while acquiring Chinese/Turkish tech to counter India’s S-400, drones, and missiles. A multi-layered air defense shield is non-negotiable for survival in a future conflict.
Chat gpt is a great tool. Thanks 0 marks due to plagiarism…. 😂😂

1- deal with threats from inside
2- deal with drone issues
3- deal with micro drone issues
4- make sure comms is never compromised
5- be able to change the battlefield trajectory mid battle
6- get hypersonic missiles
7- find every Mossad cell in Pakistan

All these countries, Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Iran, share some common traits like a lack of good governance and strong military institutions. The question for us is why these countries failed and eventually became the breeding grounds for treason, backstabbing, corruption, religious intolerance and extremely weak leadership.

It is a lesson for the Pakistani security establishment to support a strong civil society, show patience for differences of opinion, and stop supporting and promoting corrupt politicians. and empower people. Militaries alone cannot win wars; they need support from their people. The first priority should be to restore or rebuild the trust between people and the military establishment. We, the people, love our forces and will not hesitate to defend our country.

Second, we need to find a way to break or weaken the alliance between India and Israel. I don't know how, perhaps, to give some concessions to India.

Third, accelerate it is already happening) the acquisition of more advanced hardware. It is extremely important for China not to lose Pakistan; if they want to be a major power, they need to learn to protect their allies, especially the closest ally.

I agree with @MastanKhan; moving forward, Iran and Pakistan need to start talking to each other without involving religious rhetoric.

May Allah (SWT) protect us, and give us strength and unity to fight this fitna. Ameen

Strategic building should be underground and hard reinforced hidden bunkers to protect VIP, Move the Command and Control buildings deep into mountains. Installation under iron sheds like PAC Kamra and other important building else where should be converted to bunker style sheds beneath already existing sheds. Isreal defence companies have similar architecture.Put civil defence to protect from sabotage as forces will be busy. Special forces should have small loitering munition. Protect air defence for sabotage and UAV by adding short range optical and radar guided guns. Build more and more undergrounds structures.

1. Don't think it may happen, question is not will but when
2. Beware of the sleeper cells, they will get activated
3. Anticipate a threat coming from three fronts: india, afghanistan, iran
4. Prepare the citizens for air defense ... for God sake people have no clue what to do in case of a missile or air strike apart from running around like a headless chicken
5. Invest in poor navy

I will follow the rules and make sure not to disrespect anyone. I genuinely admire the Iranian people—Persians are intelligent, brave, and I deeply respect that.

I'd like to ask the Iranian users here a sincere question: how do you think this conflict will ultimately end? Both of our countries are suffering right now.

Personally, I believe that my current government will eventually be replaced through elections—Netanyahu’s time is coming to an end. But I also feel that this may be the beginning of the end for the regime in Iran.

I understand that there's currently very little real opposition in Iran, even though many people strongly dislike the regime. Is there any realistic chance that someone from the military could eventually take control, similar to what happened in Egypt?

Iranians love our government

Jewish settlers who are on a mission to slaughter children in every country must be neutered

Go **** yourself

Can we please not have an argument in this thread that's unrelated?

As for Pakistan, many good suggestions have been laid out above that are important to read.

But this Muslim hubris of pretending you're overpowered and the enemy is weak by underestimating them for no reason needs to end. So many Iranian and Pakistani OSINT dudes and self-proclaimed analysts who their entire analysis is just WE HAVE SUPER WEAPONS, ENEMY STUPID AND WEAK WE KILL THEM, then they are surprised why they lost.

I don't know if it's mental health issue but pretending your enemy is weak and stupid is nothing but retarded cope. Stop doing it.

We still haven't learnt anything. Working as a union is where the real strength lies. Just look at all the blocs in the world today. They are trading and developing their nations because they understand that without each other's support they are so much weaker. We know what binds us. Until the regional countries don't work together they will be bullied one by one.
