Umm... high world oil prices is actually good for the US now that we're back producing. Remember at one point a few years ago we were producing more oil than Saudi Arabia. Low oil prices has hurt Texas fracking.

Sorry for off-topic youz guys.
that's not true

high gas prices is terrible for domestic economy and for approval ratings

Trump recently told one cabinet minister off in public about the gas prices, I can try to find it

Honestly man, at this point. Just **** Israel for starting world war 3 and destroying whole world from the looks of it. The economy is gone for a toss in a lot of places! **** these piece of shit! This is not self defence, this is pure war.

Just **** it!

If the oil refineries start getting hit, oil prices will shoot up.

Let's see what side of the bed Trump wakes up on

it's fine 🙂 and good points.

I know everyone is celebrating the Israelis getting a taste of their own medicine but let's assess the damage on each side:

Israel:
No IDF soldiers killed
1-2 AD sites damaged
Haifa Oil Refinery Damanged
Some impacts at Nevatim Airbase (?)
approx 10 civilians killed
Psychological impact of capital being hit

Iran:
Top Leadership wiped out
Nuclear and missile sites attacked and damaged multiple times
AD/S-300s almost entirely wiped out
Remaining AAA/SHORAD only managing to shoot down a few drones here and there
Many airbases and airports damaged
Multiple Oil Depots destroyed
Oil refinery damaged/destroyed
Gas field damaged/destroyed
Missile
Approx 100+ civilians martyred
Psychological impact of capital being hit

In isolation Iran might be able to sustain this rate of attrition against Israel, but the Americans are flying a massive tanker fleet over and their euro doggies are wagging their tails
We expected that not much damage will hit Israel in beginning because of interceptors. Once those run low (maybe they assessed two weeks is what they have) then Iranian missiles would be more easily able to hit strategic targets.

I don't think this would end quickly as Israel crossed red lines and declare a all out war on Iran.

Its possible eventually 20+ Israelis get killed a day and critical infrastructure gets targeted on a daily basis. Maybe even Dimona gets hit by end of this.

but really people are happy to see Israel get a taste of their own medicine after they've been going on a rampage in the region.

some one posted here last year that Israel and west are looking more and arrogant and this is a sign by Allah that their end is near . They felt that they were invincible while striking babies In gaza and now they are running with their building falling right in front of their eyes . What a day and it’s more to come!

You DO remember that a lot of US gasoline production is from imported oil, right?

At what cost.

Their war waging capabilities are taking a hit. Salvos have dropped to a lowly number.

There might be a method to the madness but it hints to degraded capabilities.
yes Iranian attack options have been severely downgraded, but also the leadership paralysis is gone, albeit also the very leadership.Khamenei should have fired the entire leadership when Suleimani was killed and overhauled the entire IRGC, and most importantly sent them personally on the offensive. He must have known Iranian conventional military capabilities (rather the lack of it) were an Israeli strike away from being exposed and that is exactly what happened. So he should have thrown the proxies hard against the Israelis when he had them. Now Hezbollah and Hamas are no help to them.

Its already going to be a blood bath. Almost 60% of world oil passes through that water way which Iran looks over.. oil shipping WILL slow. If ONE oil tanker is bombed or something, it is bye bye economy everywhere. No insurance company will insure any further shipment of oil.

And lets not even talk about if a Iran-China vs Israel-USA war happens (which is now looking more and more likely due to US being actively and diabolically dragged into this war by You-know-Hoo), thats basically doomsday.

Oil is not as big a part of US economy as other things are. Services are much bigger part. more expensive oil makes oil companies rich but overall slows down economy. 70s oil shock come to mind.

Might be good for ExxonMobil, not as good for the people driving around lifted pick ups. They'd have to implement prices controls to stop the price going up.
