I am a little surprised that the Iranians don’t have special forces in northern Iraq to take out the idf drone bases, or their militias in Iraq?!? Also, where are these idf jets taking off from? Why not bomb those airfields, or send SF, proxies to mortar or attack the base?

I think if the Americans enter the war, then it will be full war with full mobilisation and Iran may well go after American bases in Iraq(or move to occupy Iraq given it is the base of operations for the USA and IDF.

This assumes of course, the remaining leadership remains in control, that they can affect control and there isn't a successful full regime change.

I think that is why the rate of retaliation has slowed down, they are going to see what the USA's next move is.

The Chinese have obviously determined that a full on war is now going to be waged by the USA/UK/Israel and possibly France as well, at a minimum.
