Lessons for Pakistan from the Israel/Iran conflict of June 2025

You are deeply affected by the obsolescence of AF, ain’t you? 😝

Israel’s mainly using drones and initially used ALCMs/ aero-ballistic missiles.

Iran got no use for AF, evidently……..hence not using it at all no?

😝
Lol
That’s like an old man claiming he wont use his dick but hiding he has massive ED.

There are 550K active personnel. We need to reduce to 400k. Invest saved money on PAF, navy and missiles. Pakistan can save $1 billion a year.
you need manpower to hold and defend against any indian army land incursions because we don't have too much depth to retreat and regroup. We also need manpower to launch counter offensive and occupy their lands.

You show me a single footage of an IDF warplane over Iran.

Go on........

I stand to be corrected........if you can show us.

Fair enough?
Only IDF can release that footage, not sure what it proves or disproves? a non-sensical point. any footage of PAF vs IAF with 120 plane sin the air?

Yes… evacuate them from balochistan border in train or bus and let the same script of BLA work on them like it did to Chinese and Pakistani labourers…… ✌️✌️😌😌😌 win win….

1) Modern airforce - Israel in this case used its stealthy F35 + F15 and F16 to neutralize Iranian military assets and installations. There has been a lot of debate in USA defence circles about the point of having the F15 or F16 for long term, but looking at this war many are saying that a combination of 5th and 4th is beneficial, because the advanced 5th gen can use its EW and stealth profile to take out critical enemy assets making way for 4th gen to lob munitions thereafter.

2) Intelligence and special ops - We have seen how Mossad and its operatives conducting black ops type mission inside Iran before the start of war. Their intelligence network is spread far and wide in the ME now for sure.

3) Counter intelligence and counter insurgency - In that case Iran has very underprepared and personally I am very surprised as to the lack of preparedness by IRGC or Iranian military and intelligence agencies in countering Israeli intelligence and Mossad. They must have known in advance what Israel was planning and they know their modus operandi (for e.g. Lebanon pager attack etc.), yet they were so much taken by surprise like they never anticipated that Israel would attack. In the case of Pakistan this is also very important due to the fact that we have a huge terrorism problem and in case of war such external elements will spy for enemy or cause sabotage and do more terrorist attacks.

4) Cyber Warfare - Very important and as per reports Israel utilized it to jam or neutralize (maybe hack) Iranian military communication as well as other sectors like they just hacked one of Iranian bank.

5) Air Defence - No one can deny the importance of having a multi-layered air defence like a spider web covering low-medium-high ranges and network enabled to share and receive info from air, ground and sea assets. Iran despite having some air defence, seemingly lacked the networked-coordination and unable to operate because it was the first thing that was targeted and taken out by Israel using Mossad operatives and SEAD/DEAD. I also feel bad for Iran that despite having Russia as an ally, they weren't able to get S400.

6) Long range precision deep strike capability - This is also one of the stand out features of modern warfare. Having an arsenal of munitions (cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, quasi-ballistic missiles etc.) that are launched from air, ground and sea is a must. Iran has utilized its huge arsenal of ballistic missiles, but the biggest problem was as we have seen that Iran didn't conduct precision strikes on critical Israeli assets and infrastructure using them, instead they opted for saturation strikes.

Above are some of the most important points that came to my head. Feel free to add more to it.

Absolutely great input here and very important...all points. Just so that it is not missed by anyone, we know that India is an existential threat to us but if Iran falls and Israel is able to control the skies all the way to Pakistan then we need to prepare for a possible two front war. While we have a clear focus on India and I think we have what we need to do, the western theatre needs some very special planning.

1. Expand the ISI and infiltrate Israel. We need first hand intel and we need this to be the tip of war where we can carry out assasinations and decaptiation strikes.
2. Counter-intelligence must be strengthened to avoid a reverse of point 1.
3. Secure and resilient chain of command. There should quick successions such that if the leadership is decapitated, we can quickly put a replacement without too much shock. Build strong SOPs in this regard.
4. Expand ISI and build friendly forces within Iran and this time for Pakistan's strategic depth. I would use the Pakistani Shias for this role. This should create a political centre in Iran should the current regime fall and unable to be restored.
5. If Iranian regime is restored but weak...build solid relationship and remove the Indian presence. This will take years to foster before it is meaningful.
6. If Israel can exert air superiority over Tehran so should Pakistan i.e. as a show of strength and just upto Syria. This might be an odd one but to counter, feint friendship with Israel. They would do the same. We are afterall the most lethal double crossers and sweet talkers....we should be able to do that.
7. Cyberwarfare cyberwarfare cyberwarfare - This is the most critical and crucial element in warfare.
8. Electromagnetic warfare is absolute key.
9. Air defence, air force, drone force, missile forces etc. and all associated kits need to be strengthened and expanded.
10. Develop a well thought political calculus to determine when to go pre-emptive like Israel does and ensure the backing of China and Russia and muslim countries.
11. Develop a strong industry and economy to support all of the above.
12. Everything others has said that is not covered here in this thread.

A lot of these will have to be worked on in tandem.

This is from India, however a very big alarm for intel. Probably something similar is used by Mossad in Iran to communicate with its accomplice

Say Goodbye to Hackers: Quantum Secure Communication is the Future
Thanks to DRDO and IIT Delhi ❤️

Imagine sending a secret message that can't be intercepted or decoded by anyone. Sounds like science fiction, right? But what if I told you that researchers have made a breakthrough in making this a reality?

Recently, a team from DRDO and IIT Delhi achieved a major milestone in quantum secure communication. They successfully sent a secure message over a distance of more than 1 km using a phenomenon called quantum entanglement. This means that the message was encoded in a way that makes it virtually impossible to hack or intercept.

What's the big deal?

Traditional encryption methods can be broken with enough computing power. But quantum entanglement-based encryption is different. It's like having a super-secure lock that can't be picked or broken. Any attempt to intercept the message would disturb the "lock," making it detectable.

How does it work?

The researchers used a technology called free-space Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) to send the secure message. This means they didn't need to lay down expensive optical fibers, making it a more practical solution for challenging environments.

What does this mean for the future?

This breakthrough has the potential to transform the way we secure data in industries like defence, finance, and telecommunications. It's a game-changer for anyone who needs to send sensitive information.
