Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Detailed analysis on the craters made over Fordow.

More evidence emerging that this was nothing more than a light show.

the strikes failed.

Another analysis that shows the strikes failed using science... (can't seem to post the twitter link, as it leads nowhere, so here's screenshots)

The first satellite image of Iran's Fordow nuclear facility after it was hit by a GBU-57. The crater hole is visible, and the hole has partially collapsed, but nothing else

something about physics. on this foto you can see 6 mini holes created by 6 bombs. detonated deep under the earth surface. the explosion 60m plus would not cause the collapse. maybe yes maybe no.

subsidence crater. Blast most impact were contained inside the earth. I am pretty sure underground corridors and halls are cooked.
you're pretty sure are you? Well you must have a crystal ball then, because here's what the head of the IAEA just said in his statement:

The head of the UN's nuclear watchdog says he doesn't know the extent of damage at Iran's Fordow nuclear facility after US strikes.

"There are clear indications of impacts," International Atomic Energy Agency chief Rafael Grossi tells CNN, "but as for the assessment for the degree of damage underground, on this we cannot pronounce ourselves."

"No one could tell you how much it has been damaged," he says, adding that because of observed changes in the shape of the sites, "one cannot exclude that there is significant damage there."

face saving for America after all the chest thumping, i think they followed the "Sindoor" route ... let's see how it bite backs to them

Israel is not satisfied with bombing .....now saying much of the equipment and matetial was already transferred else where.....
The point is that those nuke facilities are off the table for a long time even if not 100% destroyed.

In simple words : there will be no nuclear deal from now on because US 'concerns' have been addressed.

Exactly

Punishing the US should be done, but imo later, Iran should focus on turning Tel Aviv into Gaza and not give them an excuse to intervene and get popular support from Americans

IAEA will always predicate it with if and may be. They can never allow themself to be seen as partial to a particular government since two sides are giving unalingned take on same event. The statement itself tells that they anticipate major damage.

I think its clear to see that the interception rate of the iron dome is declining and reports of shortages on the part of Israelis is true. However what I think is also true is that Iran definitely has a shortage is launchers and maybe missiles, so we'll keep seeing declining salvos from Iran. So the percentage of impacts will increase but I think the damage will stay the same or decline if this war continues. Again my problem from the beginning is that Israel is hitting Iran far harder than the other way around and most of the strikes on Israel is on random locations as opposed to something more strategic, does not stop the war effort. I don't think a missile has killed an Israeli since last Monday or Tuesday meanwhile Iranians are dying everyday.

Look at it this way...

Let us say there are 10 attackers and 10 defenders.

Now let us say there are five targets:

- Hospital
- Farm field
- Army HQ
- Shopping mall
- Fuel depot

We can assign 2 defenders to each target, but why?

The hospital is clearly a critical target simply for humanitarian reasons. The fuel depot is also a critical target for being a direct contributor to the war effort.

But the Army HQ can be classified as 'collateral damage' because it is essentially an administrative building. In a war, all plans are dispersed, anyway. The building's destruction will not hamper the war one bit.

So out of five targets, we have to defend only two with 10 interceptors, and increased the odds of survival for each.

This is how Iron Dome works. Neither the interception calculators nor the interceptors themselves are perfect, as nothing can be, but the system have more than adequately demonstrated its efficacy to the point that it is desirable throughout the world.

BS ? It's all over in news
News channels can be false too. Our channels sometimes paddle fake news too, for viewership. The B2s came form the West, passing through Atlantic Sea, to Gibraltar, passed through Mediterranean, went though Israel, Jordan, Iraq and then attacked Iran.

The claim of the path through India (as claimed by Pakistan) or through Pakistan (as being claimed by Indians) are both false since there was no attack form this direction anyway. That was misinfo from the US to provide cover for B2s coming form the West.

Also, if the B2s came this way, they would not need to pass through India. That path makes no sense for B2s, anyway.

Let me be blunt.
You’ve been saying Iran’s air defenses are so strong that only an ALBM could penetrate them. You claimed it would be impossible to attack with bunker busters dropped from jets flying overhead.
I’ve consistently argued that it would be easily possible, and that the use of bunker busters in Yemen was a rehearsal for attacking Iran.
No one listened.
Now, you’re claiming that bunker busters aren’t that powerful.
Why should anyone trust the words of someone who has been consistently wrong in their predictions?
Why should anyone trust the words of someone who doesn’t even understand that shockwaves travel far more effectively underground?
I’ve worked as an engineer in a certain Asian country for 20 years and have a decent understanding of radar and electronic warfare—I’ve just never flaunted it.

I do agree with below. At the moment Iranians should be saying everything is destroyed. But domestic audience will compel them to say we are all good.
