If Dem don't go for Cuomo, then Adams or Cuomo will have a serious shot, depends on how many people supported either candidate, Mamdani needs to win the primary on Cuomo by at least 20 points for him to have any shot at the position, because most independent and some GOP voter is going to vote for Cuomo, we are expecting a 3 ways split between Mamdani, Adams and Cuomo for all the dem vote.

The net profit is in billions of dollars and there only 4 people who are the owners of the business. Now tell me if its not fair to tax them so their earning might be some million dollars lesser than the current net profit?

Well, the issue here is the contraction, no doubt the rich is going to invest but if you compare the tax burden between the rich and the middle class, 1% decrease of rich investment will impact more than 1% of middle class investment.

The book is heavily tilting toward the rich because they have the most money and resource to invest, you will need several fold of middle class member to overcome this, it is a lot easier to tilt it that way so it favor the rich to invest more than the middle class.

Yes, but how many people are they employing vs how many profitable industries has your government created lately.

It's easy for the government to setup a widget factory and pay everybody $100/hr and not care about profits and losses. You can't do that in the private sector.

The bottom line is private industry keeps people employed due to competition.
The government however keeps their people employed by whim and makes private companies and individuals pay their salaries through higher taxes.

Its interesting that the sitting and previous Mayors performed so poorly that they discredited mainstream Democrats. Eric Adams in particular is shamelessly corrupt. De Blasio was not corrupt but didnt do a good job.
