If Russia and China are not willing to help Iran on urgency basis, why would Iran care about this BRICS when it survived 46 years of sanctions and war?

Iran provided Shaheed drones and missiles to Russia for its war with Ukraine. What has Russia done in return? What happened to those S400s and SU-35s? If I were an Iranian leader, I would stay clear from any alliance that doesn't benefit Iran.

Evidently, neither Russia nor China can provide anything of value to Iran. This tid bit is crystal no?
