Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Nice try in attempting to turn this into a free speech issue. Plenty of Indians on here, some even not admitting to be Indians. If it was up to my I would ban 80% of you, Mods here have been hospitable and welcoming, as if Pakistani culture, so respect that and treat others with respect. How hard can that be?

Also, zero Pakistanis on Indian forums.
I already had a lot of hostile responses wrapped in good British English from fellow members. Will not try my luck anymore. Will continue reading comments.

But thank you

Well they're certainly performing better than the French in every war they've fought and lost. The British have beaten you through history, and then had to come and save you from the Germans twice. Of course, if you're a Vichy french poodle maybe you like a bit of German bratwurst.
1204 : Philippe Auguste won against Jean sans Terre in Chateau Gaillard
between 1340 & 1543 (guerre des cent ans) : english loose in Poitiers, Patay, Formigny, Castillon.
1540 : Henri II won in Calais
1627 : Louis XIII won taking La Rochelle
1745 : French won In Fontenoy battle.
1776 - 1786 : French & americans won in Yorktown.
march 2023 : french rugby team gave a lesson to the rostbeef 53 - 10.

@Fatman17 @mods
1. Posts like these and many others are off-topic.
2. What are the forum rules on cyber bullying? Thread full of members posting about "real" nationality of someone. Whether or not he is really French or not - does that give members slander another member left, right and center? How is this "civilized" esp. when forum is full of well functioning adults
Members joining the forum have an obligation to be truthful about their nationality and if they misrepresent their nationality to push some false narrative then they are in violation of the forum rules and should be banned.

Why is an Indian worried about a self-declared "French"?

AT least one thinking I'm french ! But of course a son of Laval or Petain, isn't it?

The last definitive proof was in the 2008 Mumbai attacks—10 Pakistani nationals, with one, Ajmal Kasab, captured alive. A host of details and evidence were shared with Pakistan. Was there any meaningful prosecution? I don't recall any.

As I said, diplomacy between these two states effectively died a long time ago. Perhaps the only realistic starting point now is the acceptance of the status quo.
India has been sponsoring terrorism inside Pakistan for last 50 years. You are in no position to be accusing anybody else and Ajmal Kasab was not linked to any state but Kulbushan Yadav is.

Yaar

I dont get it - Indians seem to come from a stubborn race - they have no friggin proof - they either are wholesale incompetent or just liars. take ye pick
I honestly think they are sick, they live in a parallel universe where The world revolves around India, and Indians are some Mahan creatures, superior to everyone else.

@Fatman17

I have a question for you:

if a Pakistani would have made comments like @BonPlan , what would have been your course of action..
I have nothing specific against @BonPlan as I feel there are even more crappier Indian posters who are given ample room to spread propaganda

No propaganda. Another point of view.
I gave so many clues about the fact I'm french (nearly pure one : born in Belgium, raised in France, working in France, probably will die in France). You choose to igonore it : OK. your problem.

Two people died after the wreckage of an aircraft, which crashed near Bathinda in early hours of May 7, exploded when people were trying to douse flames or were standing there. There has been no official word yet neither from the IAF nor the government about the identity of the plane. Pics of wreckage clearly point it to be an IAF Rafale.

Now the widow of one of the deceased is seeking compensation."The family of a Dalit man in Bathinda who died after an aircraft allegedly crashed and exploded on May 7 during the recent India-Pakistan conflict submitted a formal request last week seeking compensation from the government. Paramjit Kaur, the widow of Raj Kumar Singh –

the second victim who succumbed four days after the explosion – submitted the application to the Naib Tehsildar of Goniana in Bathinda. The first victim, Govind Kumar, 32, a farm labourer from Haryana, had died at the crash site. He was among those who had gathered immediately after the incident."

Hypocrites cannot stop saying Kargil Kargil.

Kargil was not a war. "Militants" were sent and they knew what they were getting in to.

Pakistan have honored all their shaheeds in operation Suhagrat/Sindoor. Didn't hide any civilian deaths.

If you think people have been hostile when they have not been, can I maybe suggest your temprement may be a touch too sensitive for a defence forum.

If you spend a day reading Indian media or watch Indian "news" anchors at work you will find out what hostile means my rather delicate and somewhat thin skinned chum.

Not a single post about French or Belgium aviation though. Yet plenty on India and Israel. You really are in international man of mystery....

They will need to start getting the story straight now. It is obvious evidence of at least 5 kills is out there with foreign military/intelligence and Pakistan officially claiming 6 (including 4 Rafales).

Wonder what they come clean with....
yes it was their genius plan of sending tiny drones masquerading as rafales, carrying rafale engines, missiles and tail numbers to fool Pakistan and it was those 5 drones that were shot down.

Isn't it about time India acknowledged its armed services personnel.
So with the resounding "victory" that India achieved, don't you think that CDS Lt.General Anil Chauhan deserves "one extra " star?
Also, a *VSM or **AVSM is due to Vice Chief of Army Lt. Gen. Rahul Singh for brilliantly exposing the "borrowed knife " , "one front two adversaries ", "testing lab" strategies of the enemy.
This is something no one in the world ( certainly not the Pentagon) knew😊
-------------------------------------------------------
(* VSM = Vishisht Seva Medal, or Distinguished Services Medal
**AVSM = Ati-Vishisht Seva Medal, or Exceptional Service Medal, Note: These are legacy equivalents of the DSM, DSC of the Royal India "British Raj" Army)
---------------------------------------------------------

Also due are the following:
  1. Shaurya Chakras due to the Brahmos missile crews for firing 500 missiles and hitting 19 targets.
  2. Kirti Chakras due to the Rafale, Mig 29, Su 30, Mirage 2000 pilots who came back successfully completing the mission ( without their planes)
  3. Vir Chakras to the LOC Border Observation Post personnel who stayed steadfast raising white flags announcing unilateral pre-compliance with the upcoming ceasefire in the face of SH-15, 155mm artillery fire,
  4. Param Vir Chakra.. Hmm here it gets dicey as these are usually awarded posthumously. I guess the S-400 crew in Adampur, and Uddhampur may qualify, for valiantly shooting down all the CM-400AKG and saving the S-400 batteries and cheeseboard radar. Also, a possible female pilot who was the valiant " Valkyrie "of skies, shooting down 6 Pakistani F-16s in a single mission.
Every one of these chakras will be the basis for at least 12-15 Bollywood blockbuster epic movies raking in at least a billion USD.

Now don't you think all the above is worth one measly little star to Asim Munir heading a defeated "insurgent army" ( per Catherine Fair) .

Don't know what the term for Field Marshal is in Hindi . My Sanskrit is rusty ( उच्चत्तम सेना अध्यक्ष?). But CDS Lt. General Anil Chauhan certainly deserves an extra star. Don't understand why the delay
