You guys are fighting over nuclear program, when reality is even the water situation has worsened.

The reformists realized that resistance is futuile. The economy has gone to shit, water situation has worsened, draught/climate change is turning iran barren, and on top of that we are trying to fight a Holy War against Israel while the PG Arabs prosper economically.

Iran has enmity with the west since 1979 has created decades of hardship, and for what? Reagan sold Irans weapons and would have welcomed an Iran that is in western sphere of influence instead Iran choose “neither east nor west”. Well today it’s desperately trying to “go east” and ally itself with China to survive.

So for Iran as a Republic it must make a choice. Because this little game they been playing with America/Israel for 50 years has gone no where and only destroyed this nation despite all of self sufficiency and resilient efforts we lost many of bright minds to brain drain and the ones that remain have to fight a corrupt and incompetent government to keep it afloat.

Iran looks more like a late stage USSR than a country that is beating the great Satan.

but you are right. and there are other easy solutions: more silo / underground launchers in each base so the missiles don't need to leave the base, store excavator equipment inside the base to create exits from the inside, build many more tunnel entrances to each base, distribute the missiles to bases deeper within Iran

Yes and also some of the older ballistic missiles like Shahab 3 that were produced in thousands in early 2000s can be converted to decoy ballistic missiles to be used within a salvo that contains new ones like Khorramsahr 3. Its range can be increased by installing a dummy lightweight warhead so shahabs can be launched from central Iran with khorramsahr new ballistic missiles. Western air-contested areas are found to be high risk. Next time Usa carrier groups may intervene and air-attack eastern missile depots while israel attacks and tries to gain air dominance in western Iran. You should be prepared for that scenario also.

So you are saying that there is no way the US can distinguish a dummy lightweight warhead, which most likely would have a different flight behaviors, from real warheads. When will the Iranian government hire you as their new technical 'consultant'?
