We as Muslims were required to think beyond tribes, borders, and told not to die by raising slogans of family or supporting our own tribe, yet here we are. I will point you to the Nation of Lut, who continued sinning after repeated warnings, and when punishment came, it came upon the whole nation, though there were righteous people in those nations when the angels questioned God. Do note that there were children born and unborn in their mothers' wombs who also met the same fate. This all happened due to the seeds of corruption and sin. When a nation can't course correct, then nature does its job.

It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn ‘Abdullah al-Bajali that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: One who is killed under the banner of a man who is blind (to his just cause), who raises the slogan of family or supports his own tribe, dies the death of one belonging to the days of Jahiliyya.​

Sahih Muslim Book 20, Hadith Number 4561

You know, the past two years, I've personally had a conflict of faith, every time I question why, in my readings, I find the answer. I'm more proud of my Islamic faith, but also resigned to the fate that will befall me.

I just wish the people in our region of the world would read and read to find out the reason for their suffering.

We will sink with them, brother, no matter the depth. My father told me a story about Bani Israel more deeply; the short form is this: he said there were three types of people in that nation:

1) Those who prayed and didn't warn others of sin.
2) One who prayed and warned others of sin.
3) Those who sinned.

In Surah Al-A'raf 7:163 166 when the Jews broke their oath, all three were dispersed across the lands. While some received more severe punishment, neither was spared.

Hamas has every reason to believe that pusillanimous elements in the West will save it from total defeat. They might be right. And if the lesson of this war is that genocidal terrorism pays out in the end, we will see more genocidal terrorism.

Israel 'threatens to stop aid flights if media film Gaza from the sky'​


Sky News joined an aid drop conducted by Jordan’s military, but were told they were not allowed to film Gaza from above.

“Monday's flight came with strict media conditions,” the outlet reported. “We were told the Israeli side had warned that any shots of Gaza filmed from the air could result in these aid flights being cancelled.

“But Israel's tight grip has not stopped the images from Gaza getting out, horrifying people around the world. The question now is what more the international community will do about it.”
