Trump Announces Major Pakistan Trade Deal, Vows Joint Oil Development/Exploration

This is a welcome step for Pakistan’s economy. More trade means more opportunities, jobs, and growth.
Let’s take a minute not to jump into the usual conspiracy theories like “US is here for our nukes” and no, Pakistan isn’t becoming anyone’s slave.
This is about economics, not surrender. It’s called engaging with the world to serve our own interests and that’s exactly what smart nations do.
Let’s celebrate this moment, even if briefly. Happiness and good news don’t come often, let’s not ruin it with unnecessary paranoia.
Here’s hoping this deal opens more doors and paves the way for a stronger, self-reliant Pakistan. 🇵🇰🤝🇺🇸
And special thanks to modi ji’s operation Tandoor, wouldn’t be possible without it 😂

If Americans really wanted to take the Pakistani nukes then the best time was between 9/11 and August 2021. And, no, they are not warming up to Pakistan because this is some 'imported government': They made Pakistan beg for a mere $1 billion in 2022 through IMF after the previous govt was toppled.
Maybe India's 'utility' to 'contain China' is significantly diminished and it was apparent even during the Biden administration's cool engagements with India.
But America is America! This too shall not last long, I am afraid. But make hay while the sun shines!

Interesting development

1- Oil/Gas exploration did happen in waters under Imran Khan Government
2- Companies claimed nothing was found
3- Renewed interest in Oil and Gas explorations

Most likely offshore. Americans were involved in exploration. IK was supposed to announce but Bajwa and Co didn't let him.

We recently discovered 4th largest oil reserves in the world. Before that during IK tenure there was also some news of oil discovered near Gwadar. However we don't have the ability to extract it ourselves.
I hope it's gas reserves not oil ..... heydays of oil are nearly over , gas is a cleaner source of energy.

Who cares?. If they bring FDI and develop the oil reserves we are set economically. Pakistani will get jobs, opportunities and better living standards.

We are in the IMF mess because of our own destructive policies not because of the US. IMF is just a lender.

This is a death sentence for BLA (if activity is to take place in Balochistan), so expect the leftist woke terrorist brigade to start crying about it.

I DARE pxjeet doval to order his commie BLA dogs to attack the Americans
They'll be like, they are stealing our minerals and oils. Peak victim complex

India will be buying oil from Pakistan.

Pakistans major oil deposits off the Makran coast will be a transformational prosperityfor Pakistan.

Fat yankees are coming to frack the shit outta Baluchistan or Sindh Sagar/Arabian sea to drill up nonexistent oil reserves (I hope they are there tho....)

I wonder who will claim the oil is being stolen from them, Sindhis? Makranis? maybe the fishes?

Whoever made the decision to not buy oil from russia, just did pakistan a massive service. We should focus on China, US, GCC and ukraine.

PTI mferss also bitched about us selling weapons to ukraine. We lost so much revenue and potential trade because of imran khans tantrums and fake rehtroic.

Medal to centcom general was also worth it, but we have this weird moral religious lens that keep fucking us over and over. Pakistan comes first and our economic interests come first.

Exactly. People forget that geopolitics is driven by shifting interests, not sentiment or conspiracy. Pakistan’s nukes have survived far more volatile times and not because of luck, but because they’re protected by credible deterrence and strategic calculus.

The U.S. isn’t suddenly “friendly” it's recalibrating. India’s inflated utility in the China containment plan is clearly plateauing, especially with New Delhi asserting its own terms. Washington needs options, and a stable Pakistan with economic potential is a logical choice not a favor.

You're right though, it won’t last forever. It never does. But the smart play is to engage, benefit, and build leverage while the window is open. That’s how nations rise, not by sulking in paranoia, but by making moves when the board shifts.

China is a friend but sometimes friends do act like jerks .... Chinese were getting arrogant and believed Pakistan has nowhere to go and is destined to be her bitch .... it's a wake-up call for china.
They did no such thing lol - they have been there for Pakistan in EVERY single situation we found ourselves in and will continue to be there US or no US
think back to 60s, 70s to terrorism, every UN Security Council meeting
We'll always need each other, and another third country has no bearing on our relationship with them imo

Yeah exactly. If they're able to develop the reserves, things will change for all Pakistanis.
