(CDF / COAS)'s Desk

but hes not had a starbucks in forever!

so many western residing, anti west, gaza before anything people here. I always find it interesting. Pakistan bad for liking gen kurilla... while happily living in the us contributing to israels war machine lol. If its so deplorable to them, they should conduct the ultimate boycott and relocate to iran or nk or some nonsense lol
It's performative ideological purity (insanity), you see it in both hobby communists & Islamists.

One can sympathise with a position out of ethics/ideology, but if you can't be at least accept that pragmatism and the immediate interests of an individual or state come first then it's just stupidity.

no one is out here doing suicidal things just to look morally righteous especially when its the wellbeing of an entire country at stake.

You live in the USA and pay taxes directly funding the genocide machine out of complete personal choice but the livelihood of 240+ million people and their collective interests should be placed on the back burner to maintain a status quo that has zero tangible effect in real terms apart from meaningless optics?

That's one of the most extreme forms of hypocrisy out there. Moral performatism for 200+ million people but enjoying the Zionist run USA for myself. 😄
Is that your justification for accepting a genocide of human beings that have been persecuted for generations ? That there could be a couple of bucks in it for Pakistan ?

I have already pointed to Egypt and Jordan, repressive regimes with poor economies that nevertheless enjoy Western support for their dictatorships just because they collaborate with Israel. That doesnt sound like anything good for Pakistan, morally or economically or democratically. The more Amreeka hugs faujis, the freer hand they will have to seize whatever remains of the civilian economy of Pakistan and destroy whatever remains of Pakistanis rights.

Pakistanis and their love of shortcuts and jugaar!

If it even just tangibly in the most minor way improves the lives of the millions of impoverished people in Pakistan and takes it out of its current diplomatic position giving it more momentum, yes 100%.

What Pakistan accepts or doesn't accept makes literally 0% in the real world. A game of pointless words. Neither does it even have to deny a genocide is going on, even countries that formally recognise Israel have called it so.

But my priorities will always be Pakistan over anybody or any thing else.

its been what, a month?
Exactly. Nothing but trade and some COIN cooperation should be on the cards. Anything else is subject to uncertainty of Trump's whims.

That tangible most minor benefit to Pakistan will go into the pocket of faujis, who have already grabbed the lions share of resources. After Pakistan joins Abraham accords and the faujis secure bottomless western support for themselves, like the Egyptian and Jordanian regimes have done , the faujis will seize the few tidbits that remain in the hands of Pakistani civilians.

Doing all this over the dead bodies of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians will corrupt and destroy the soul of Pakistan and lose Kashmir in the process as well.

Asim Munir wants this because he can turn into the Mubarak or Sisi or Saddam or Jolani of Pakistan, but why would You want that ?

180 million pound from UK into supreme court account

That money has gone from Supreme Court account to the Generals accounts.
From the Generals accounts to USA and Europe, they buying property like no
tomorrow.

Portugal is a favourite destination at the moment.

So his corruption is innocence so he should be forgiven, others should be punished.

what corruption? anyways IK is in prison, when will the others ever get punished.

I know nobody can touch the Jurnails because they are Gods chosen people in
Pakistan.

Pakistan needs a Lee Kuan Yew type of person......to put danda up everyone's ass....for 30 years straight
That wasn't Lee Kuan Yew. He was an authoritarian but not a fauji and his vision for Singapore was development-based. Pakistanis have singularly refused to develop their country and rely on clientalism.

Damn so many people in favor of a general doing everthing except for his job. How about start from smugling network with in the institution? Or apologizing or just acknowledgement of what the institution has done to the country since its establishment? Or telling us about how the institution is doing by establishing comapanies with tax payers money and "then telling us we pay tax on them" brain dead idiots that was our tax money in the first place with which your every busuiness running with either fauji or defence in its name. Keep in mind i am not a PTI supporter so really dont care if you hang the man.

It's going to be good to see that prick Michael Kugelman change his tone.
I just couldn't resist. I remembered your comment & this video popped up on my YouTube.

Yeah.. soldiers dying left and right in Balochistan.
Have ever visited karachi people die here every freakin day. Death is not something to be celebrated whether a soldier or a civilian but at least soldiers get family support and more as per their ranks after their deaths (martydom) because the institution has all the resources under their belt that the whole country has to offer but what do those civilian get? Who are actually the ones who those resources belong too. And please dont tell me you dont think institution nothing to do with that i can create a chain from inception of the country till today of what they had done to this country just so they can hold on to the power and be holy.

Never hear of any colonel or brigadier or general dying in Baluchistan or the border, except when their helicopter falls out of the sky. Jawans dying endlessly for 25 years isnt some great record.
