I lived in the apartment building next to the infamous Jeffries Project in Detroit.

Parked my car out back in the projects back parking lot.

The stories I can tell!

But I was safe because I knew to mind my own business and stay out of theirs.

And the coworker I played chess during lunch with was Larry Chambers' cousin. LOL!

Remember one day coming home from work. Two homicide detectives parked out front.

Told my neighbors and I there's a man wanted for murder holed up in an apartment on the fourth floor.

Told us they decided to just wait him out.

Surreal. We all went about our lives, going to and from for almost a week. Guess the guy gave himself up. One day I came home and things got back to normal.

Again, I parked my Crown Vic in the back part of the Jefferies projects parking lot and entered the back door of my apartment building. Safer than out front on the street.

One evening I came home and saw a mattress filled with blood.

A woman stabbed her husband to death.

Just another day in the 'hood.

Lived there for seven years. Nobody touched me.

The point I am making is that the 'hood has it's own rules. Mind your own business, stay out of other's and you will be fine.

The federal police will end up causing problems they are not aware of. Anyone here understand?

Swastikas, Nazi symbols, and hateful messages including “F— Jews, BDS” were spray-painted on the sidewalk, building entrance, and nearby barriers close to the community center and offices of the IAC’s Los Angeles region, according to the organization.

True it says they can’t use the military but the National Guard is excluded and since DC has no governor the President is in charge of the DC National Guard

What you're likely to see will be the deployment of NG MP units. And, interestingly:

Depending on current unit strength, that's between 500-600 MPs. And, if these MPs are like a number I knew back in the day, their civilian jobs were as cops.
