So you too are one Of the typical, stupid fan-boy braggarts who first spread wild claims, then react dismissively or arrogantly to questions to prove it and in the end disappear again without further events... just like the idiots who firmly claimed that J-35A would be delivered at the beginning of August... 🤡
As for as relations between China and pakistan, and transfer of things are concerned, My dear Int.l Mode is wrong on all aspects... There are even bigger surprises... It is my last post on this thread.. regards

Man, why oh why can Pak not just pitch China for the entire J-10 assembly line? Before Micheal or someone comes on here and bites my head off, pretty sure China was making money on all JF-17s makes at Kamra

This way we can make for PAF, sell to others, keep production running and China can focus on 5th/6th Gen

Again like we already have "J-16, J-20 and Typhoons"?

The strange thing about such short posts is that they vaguely hint at everything else, negate it without providing any explanation, what is actually wrong – and I never rule out that I'm wrong – and then they leave with a gut feeling that someone just said something without actually saying anything!

Still, a quick follow-up question is allowed?

"wrong on all aspects" ... including that CAC is keeping production free for Pakistan for years to come, without orders?
Is it wrong that there needs to be a certain lead time for a larger order?
Is it also wrong that CAC wants to be paid for it?
Is it wrong that the PLAAF is simply delivering two or three brigades to Pakistan?

Because that's all I said...

Pakistan's J-10C acquisition timeline

Date
Event
29 July 2020A batch of 5 Rafails land in India
25 June 2021Contract signed for J-10Cs
29 December 2021Acquisition of J-10CS announced by Interior/Railways Minister
04 March 2022A batch of 6 J-10Cs land in Pakistan
11 March 2022J-10C induction ceremony

  • All happened in less than 9 months.
  • The first batch of Rafails landed in India less than 11 months earlier.

No shit sherlock they're performing CAP duties. What you want the only squadron to do a show and tell.
Have some respect. I have noticed your way of taking to many members (many of them seniors) is not good.
If you differ with someone on opinion you can do it in civilized way.

in fairness, a very comprehensive typhoon deal was presented to the forces

LOL.
Relax! I'm from Sichuan. Sichuanese people like to eat rabbit heads, not human heads. Just kidding.

The issue of Pakistan acquiring the J-10CE assembly line requires analysis from several perspectives.

1. Technical confidentiality and national security. This is the responsibility of China's State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. If it were just the assembly line, I suspect there wouldn't be a major problem. However, they will need to conduct a detailed assessment. ------ They have the final say on all matters concerning China's foreign military trade and military technology.
2. From a purely commercial perspective, I think if Pakistan is willing to pay cash, CAC would be very happy with the deal. However, if it is a loan deal, they are unlikely to agree. So, it depends on whether Pakistan has sufficient cash. ------ CAC is in dire need of cash right now.

However, we need to carefully analyze the question “Does Pakistan need a J-10CE assembly line?”
1. The CAC's J-10CE production line has an annual production capacity of approximately 60 aircraft. How many J-10CE fighters does the PAF need? Or, in other words, how many J-10CE fighters can the PAF afford?
2. If Pakistan acquires this production line but production fails to meet design requirements, it will result in a significant waste of production resources. This waste will ultimately be added to costs and translated into sales price.
3. All components required for the J-10CE will still have to be imported from other Chinese suppliers. This will incur significant transportation costs. Furthermore, if the quantity ordered is too small, the purchase price will increase.
Only if the PAF can purchase more than 100 J-10CE aircraft in the short term (3-4 years) can the cost of importing the J-10CE assembly line be comparable to the price of direct imports from China.

From the perspective of technology import, the J-10CE assembly line doesn't contain much high-tech content; it's essentially the same as the JF-17B3's. ------ Forget the Pulse Intelligent Production Line. Pakistan can't afford it yet.

The true core of the J-10CE lies in its subsystems. However, these technologies will not be exported, nor will they be produced outside of China.

It's a very complicated question. PL-16 is not PL-15 V2.0, etc. Meaning it's a new family with up to date technology set. Not just a simple upgrade to PL-15 that can just be mounted instead of existing PL-15.

It the adapters are the same between PL-15 and PL-16, and an AWACS will guide it, one can assume that it can be used readily.

However, China has started to roll these out in the field. So the integration testing is being finished at limited scale. Soon, J-10CE's will get these upgrades too.
Is there any PL-16 in development? Never heard of this weapon? Only PL-17 have in the plaaf after PL 15 or PL-21 I have heard that it was in development since 2008 and will be in same class of like METEOR

So I kindly request you to give the source/links on PL-16 sir thanks

Next logical question. Which new missile will be inducted in place of PL-15s, since Indians now know their range and won't come any closer now?? We won't induct a new platform just to induct a new missile, right....🤔🤔
You just need a new stealth-fight platform

Concentrate on building our own Air Defense against hypersonic saturation attacks. Induct PN subs on a crash basis and equip them with hypersonic missiles. Replace your ageing aircraft inventory with either the J-10C or JFT Block III. Look for upgrades to our F-16's. That should be our immediate priorities. KAAN & J-35 can come later with PL-17.

Today, these are not the times when hundreds of thousands troop would march in enemy territory. Today we don't need 1 million armed forces (active and reserves). Even an army of 400,000 is more then enough for today's wars.

Why not reduce army to 400,000 better trained and equipped force , and shift the savings to air force. Then money won't be an issue for these purchased.
