The medals are awarded based on actions undertaken by individuals. Second, all shuhadaa's families are taken care of by the respective service's welfare trust and there is an upfront monetary award, free education/medical for the wards etc. as well.

So long as that isn’t some catchphrase just so people keep producing for the meat grinder with little accountability for those whose mistakes lead to Shuhuda.

Many en masse Shuhuda from early Bajaur campaigns were the direct result of incompetence of people who retired comfortably on DHA estates without any accountability.

I am sure mistakes were made and will continue to be made. Nature of changing warfare. This is also not the same situation as that of FATA CoIN.
What I wrote does not take anything away from accountability. All nations honor their fallen whether they fell due to negligence or incompetence.

Sure it is a bit better there.......but i can quote at least half dozen cases of whistleblowing where corporate america had the whistle blower dead...........the latest one being that guy from Boeing......

I mean, all societies are just relative to each other. Pakistan has its issues no one denies that.
