More stupid logic, thinking that Indian companies are here doing consultancy services alone. Have you ever thought of what consultancy services are like or who are doing it.
Next time when you play Red Dead redemption 2, and finish it look at the names. You might find Rockstar India being mentioned. They designed the game environment and models you interact with, especially NPCs. And some of them work in the US through H1Bs. This is not rocket science, apply this logic to companies like Google, Microsoft who have RnD centers in India.

But sure, you can hope and pray for the companies magically stopping all the H1B hires and cutting off Indians.

Take for example this whole Russian oil thing. What exactly happened? Russian war cut off Europes oil so they began sourcing it from India. Did Indian oil export jumped? No. We simply sold oil which we sold earlier to the East Asians. East Asians started buying from the Middle East. That's how international trade work.
