Chinese UAVs News & Discussions

this size/dimension also mean, it can be mass produced quickly!
Don't think these are expendable type, in fact, the chief designer already mentioned his vision of CCA drone in his research paper on sixth gen program years back, instead of expendable low cost semi auto drone, they preferred high end unmanned fighter jets which share kits and parts with next gen manned jets to ease on maintenance, availability and so on, he believed cost shouldn't be a consideration.

Our nation ( China )has built a combat machine unlike any other in human history.
Equipped with an afterburning high-thrust engine, a standard internal weapons bay, supersonic flight capability, and air-to-air combat prowess, this unmanned intelligent fighter is a marvel of modern warfare.

Previously, American and French fighter pilots still harbored illusions of challenging the J-36, attempting to close in for dogfights within visual range, as they continued to view aerial combat as a battle between humans.

But in the face of today's unmanned air dominance aircraft, the entire history of human aerial warfare, the art of air combat, and the concept of the knight of the sky have all become meaningless—turned into a closed chapter.

This machine is utterly stealthy and invisible, possesses absolute situational awareness, and far surpasses human limits in withstanding G-forces. Moreover, its consciousness can be infinitely replicated and upgraded.

A human, even with thousands of hours of combat experience, iron will, and unwavering faith, can only die once.

This machine is indifferent to life and death—every "death" only makes it stronger.

This is not an opponent that humans can challenge.

Two large unmanned fighter jets of the J-10 level. To be honest, I think it would be interesting to develop a manned fighter jet for export based on these two. They obviously have a shape that is more conducive to stealth than the F-22 and F-35.

Unlike subsonic flying wing design, tailess supersonic fighter drone which requires high maneuvering also indicates both SAC and CAC has mastered flight control in this area.

Don't you think this one and the one didn't showed up in the parade are the same?

Are there any developments in uav awacs area as well? Attaching aesa pods to hale drones is one solution although the range might be limited it can show low flying intruders in South China sea for example.

The "21" above its air intake is its abbreviated tactical designation. Its full tactical designation is located on the aircraft's belly: "H6518021."
This is completely consistent with PLA Navy regulations. This is a naval carrier-based UAV that has officially entered service.

According to common practice, this UAV is derived from the PLAAF's GJ-11, so its official code may be "GJ-11J" or "GJ-11H".

I remembered one or two large UCAV which appeared in the rehearsal but didn't show up in the parade.

With the Catapult the KJ-600 could be one of the only manned platforms to fly from the Type 076, flying 300 km behind the unmanned fighters and strike aircraft, and be the long range eyes for these drones. Controlling the missiles these aircraft fire, with the AEW’s own radar and datalinks.

The Type 076 may have to be improved to have two catapults to ensure redundancy.
