Pakistan-Saudi Arabia mutual defense pact: News & Discussion

Qatar already bans Indians from any military related work, would not be surprised if Saudi already has.

You remember Qatar had been through it before? They caught 8 Indian engineers spy for Israel? They wanted to punish them for treason but they weren't Qatari citizen so Israel and the US came in between and told Qatar to send them to India and they will be in jail there. Like it will happen!!!

No one knows where they are since then after reaching India. And these fools continue to employ them en mass still!

By looking at the events of past two years in the SE and ME Asia regions, it seems that a well thought out plan was executed to bring practically the whole Islamic world under the control of two expansionist state of Israel and India.

For analogy, these two states can be considered together as a snake with two heads. One head (i.e. Israel) acts as an enemy of some Arab states and Iran while posing as a friendly state for (or wooing to) some other Arab states. The other head (i.e. India), acts even more mischievously and with success, posing as a 'natural' ally towards Iran and almost all Arab states while acting as a bloody enemy against Muslims (i.e. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, etc.) What the Muslim states miserably failed to understand that feeding either head (e.g. with billions of investment and other favorable gestures), in fact, effectively amounts to making the monster snake even stronger against them all if seen as a whole. Both states have a deep strategic alliance, only a part of it being visible to the world, while the most dreaded details kept under thick wraps The deep rooted nexus between the Indian RAW and Israeli Mossad got exposed during Israeli attack on Iran when scores of Indians (originally RAW operatives) were caught working for Mossad too.

Regardless if the original plan was already devised (and waiting for opportune time for launching) or it was devised post Hamas-Israel war, the goal was to subdue all Muslim countries from Africa to Myanmar to bring them all under the effective control of Israel and India (and by extension, their western masters). Once achieved, installing new regimes and drawing new borders were the next goals. For the current rules, the message would have been: Either you prove to be s faithful servant (in order to be allowed in power) or get replaced by some other puppet regime.

Armed forces bases next to Israel...

Huge orders of weapons from China.
I think the bases should be near Damam, a bit away from Israel and also closer to Pakistan, so that The units can respond to both enemies and also have enough distance to not be surprised by a massive surprise attack.

Yup, 5 years form now lets park J-35s a few miles away from Israel, boot will be on the other foot
Fatah 1, 2 3 and 4 will be next to Israel border.

The Saudis received their first Tornado in 1986. The only conflicts we've had since then are 1999 (Kargil), 2019, and 2025. We didn't receive any direct foreign military assistance in any of them.

In 1971 the Saudis provided political and financial support. Can't seem to find any mention of warships being sent anywhere in 71 or 65.
Saudi Arabia deployed Tornado fighter jets to Pakistan for the Indus Shield 2024 air exercise, which took place amid rising tensions in the region, particularly related to the India-Pakistan conflict that escalated in May 2025. This exercise aimed to enhance military collaboration and showcase the capabilities of the participating nations' air forces.

Saudi Arabia has historically provided military support to Pakistan, particularly during times of conflict with India, but specific instances of arms transfers are often not publicly detailed. The most notable support occurred during the 1971 war and the Kargil conflict in 1999, where Saudi Arabia's backing was seen as part of their longstanding defense relationship

With Israel we should not go toe to toe, we should have a plan to goe hammer to toe, so no need for the rocket force, we should make it very clear in no inambiguous terms, it will start and end with the higher end weapons.

The entire media is running wild for likes. A government to government pact just happened yesterday. It's called "Agreement in Principle".

The PM and his cabinet went to UK and then to the USA. They will come back, add all needed legal stipulations, roles, responsibilities and Saudia will do the same. They will meet again and then finalize ALL terms, conditions, how and when and then it will come out on who is doing what, where and how.

Pakistani parliament should invite Hashemite ruler of Jordan to the deal because my gracious offer to the mayor of Jerusalem fell on deaf ears.

ordinary poster would atleast get points for this much non sense!

I really hope we can extend this type of treaty to Yemen and Iran and possibly other member countries.

Then Pakistan is defenitely fighting Israel :ROFLMAO: I think that's a terrible idea. These treaties have longlasting consequences and must be carefully thoughtout over decades.

Israel and Saudi relations are good. This isn't even about Israel.

The most evil and coward person claim to be Muslim is a King of Jorden who is charging 1 lakh USD every truck passing through Jorden for Palestinian refugees and spend same to secure Israel by shooting down missiles to protect jews.

Saudi media hail strategic defense pact with nuclear-armed Pakistan

Saudi media say defense agreement allows Riyadh, Islamabad to use their full military capabilities without exception

Saudi media hail strategic defense pact with nuclear-armed Pakistan

ISTANBUL
Saudi state media celebrated a strategic defense agreement signed with nuclear-armed Pakistan as a “deterrence umbrella” that allows both nations to use their full military capabilities without exception.
On Wednesday, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman signed the pact in Riyadh with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to a joint statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the agreement seeks to “enhance security, achieve peace in the region and the world, aim to develop aspects of defense cooperation between the two countries and strengthen joint deterrence against any aggression.”
“Any aggression against either country shall be considered an aggression against both,” the agreement says, without elaborating.
“Crown Prince and Pakistani Prime Minister sign strategic defense agreement,” headlined Okaz newspaper, saying that towers across Saudi cities were illuminated with Saudi and Pakistani flags.
Nuclear deterrence
Okaz published a column by writer Muteb Al Awad hailing the defense pact.
“A historic fortification of the Islamic front: Saudi air defense completed by Pakistani nuclear deterrence,” headlined the column.
The deal “ushers in a deeper and more cohesive phase in relations between the two nations,” Awad said, framing the agreement as a “redefinition of regional deterrence.”
He argued that Saudi Arabia’s economic strength makes it the guarantor of global energy stability.
Saudi Arabia’s “advanced military places it among the leading regional forces, and its custodianship of Islam’s holiest sites grants it spiritual legitimacy and leadership in the Muslim world,” the writer said.
He also said the kingdom’s Vision 2030 has accelerated military modernization through domestic defense industries and weapons development, positioning the country as “the first line of defense against threats to Gulf and Islamic security.”
The Saudi writer said Pakistan is a declared nuclear power with a missile arsenal and one of the largest armies in the Islamic world.
He said its geographic position on the Arabian Sea links the Gulf to South Asia and the Indian Ocean, while its large population and defense industry expertise bolster its role in any joint defense arrangement.
The pact, he said, creates “a bilateral collective security umbrella” covering operational planning, intelligence sharing, joint exercises, naval and air cooperation, and defense industry development.
He said the recognition that “any attack on one country is an attack on both” establishes a “solid deterrence umbrella capable of protecting the Gulf and the Islamic world.”
Military capabilities
Political analyst Moneef Ammash al-Harbi said the defense pact allows both Riyadh and Islamabad to use their full capabilities.
The agreement “allows both nations to use their military capabilities without exception for deterrence … and sends a message to regional and international parties,” he said in statements carried by Al-Arabiya television.
Retired Saudi Air Force Brig. Gen. Faisal al-Hamad told the channel the agreement “adopts the NATO principle that an attack on one is an attack on all.”
Pakistani newspapers also gave prominent coverage to the signed defense agreement. SPA said skyscrapers in Islamabad were lit with Saudi and Pakistani flags in celebration.
“Crown Prince discusses developments with Pakistani prime minister, signs strategic defense agreement,” headlined Al-Riyadh newspaper.
“Crown Prince and Shehbaz review partnership,” said Al-Madina daily. “Strategic defense agreement between the kingdom and Pakistan.”
The defense pact between the two countries was signed a week after an Israeli strike on the Qatari capital, killing five Hamas members and a Qatari officer.
The attack came even as Doha, together with Egypt and the US, was mediating indirect talks between Hamas and Israel for a ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal in Gaza, where more than 65,000 people have been killed since October 2023.
