So if India wants to be China's trading partner on "friendly terms", that route goes through a peaceful Pak-India relationship. Indian media exaggerates for TRP. Because exaggeration sells, policy wise they have zero influence. There used to be a time when they had influence but that has since long gone, Modi is not at all media friendly and keeps a tight kid on information so you can't really get what the Indian state is thinking from its media.

Second, you may find great noise about in North West medias but from Gujarat, talks about Pakistan is quite passive for a lack of better word.

I don't believe that Indian media runs on euphoria only and doesn't listen to the government. There is a reason why it's called the Godi media. It gets funding from the Indian government and it's their mouthpiece. I've met Palki Sharma twice. She's a RAW agent. And in one event, she and her entire Indian media did such biased reporting that was opposite to how She and Burkha Dutt (also a RAW agent) were behaving in the event with people and government of that region. I am on purpose keeping sensitive details out. So you know the Indian media is VERY biased and sells whatever they can find against Pakistan, China and even the Middle East. They don't do it openly to the middle east due to millions of Indian there including businessmen milking middle eastern economies. Otherwise they will roast these nations daily.

It's a normal practice. Economy is going strong enough, USA impact will not be more 1 of GDP, for example it was expected that india will grow with 7%, now would be approx 6%
