Read his bio...the very poster child of what is wrong with the government...he went from an IRGC commander to the appointed head of Khatam-Al Anbiya, from that to chief of police, then he became the head of the Air Force...he didn't even have a pilot license!!! He got the license on the job, afterwards. Then he became mayor of Tehran and 5 billion dollar went missing, the reporter who blew the whistle was jailed, but they never even investigated this jackal. Then he decided to run for president, but he's got the charisma of a can of beans....so he was appointed the speaker. What a shit show.

^ Ghalibaf is another Ali Larijani but without the hairs or intellectual pedigree. Another one of those highly corrupt new "elites" that rose through the ranks using family background or self formed connections, has always stayed in power in one way or other by massaging the right pairs of balls in the system. He comes from different power base though. Compared to Ali L he can atleast claim to be a self made man. They are all mediocre idiots though.
