The problem for the IAF chief, is that most Chiefs when they are retire, can speak of battles "won" or big changes they introduced, as their "legacy".

The current IAF chief's legacy is that he got his butt royally k*cked by the PAF, and for the rest of his retirement, he will have to explain that to everyone, including also to his neighbours dog... He is trying invent some fiction of success as the end of his days as IAF chief are looming over the horizon.
