A college professor with suspected links to Antifa — and who believes Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are Nazis — was arrested in Chicago late last month after he allegedly brought a loaded gun to an anti-ICE protest.

Elias Cepeda, who is listed as a faculty member in the English department at Northeastern Illinois University, was collared on Sept. 26 with a loaded gun and multiple rounds of ammunition on him amid President Trump’s Operation Midway Blitz crackdown in the Windy City.

The Department of Homeland Security alleges Cepeda brought the loaded firearm with him to a demonstration outside an ICE facility in Broadview, Ill., the site of several violent protests.

State Department Revokes Visas Of 6 Foreigners Who Cheered Charlie Kirk's Death​

The State Department has revoked the visas of six foreigners after they publicly celebrated the assassination of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk.

“The United States has no obligation to host foreigners who wish death on Americans,” the State Department posted on X on Oct. 14.

“The State Department continues to identify visa holders who celebrated the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk.”

The names of those who lost their visas were withheld, but their redacted social media posts were published by the department.

They included a South African national who lost their visa after mocking Americans who grieved Kirk’s death, saying “they’re hurt that the racist rally ended in attempted martyrdom” and said Kirk wouldn’t be remembered as a hero.

Others whose visas were revoked included an Argentinian, a Mexican, a Brazilian, a German, and a Paraguayan.

“Aliens who take advantage of America’s hospitality while celebrating the assassination of our citizens will be removed,” the State Department posted.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced last month he planned to begin the revocation process.

“Visa revocations are under way,” he posted. “If you are here on a visa and cheering on the public assassination of a political figure, prepare to be deported.”

LA County is a mess. I have lots of experience dealing with those people.

People are trying to rebuild after the intentionally set Palisades fire and are waiting on permits, etc. Yet these fools will drop everything to assist people illegally in the country.

Mind boggling.

The marine son sponsored the parents to the US, about to get the green card, and was deported because DHS said the father had a criminal record.

The reporter who did this interview did a name search, and nothing came up; the record that DHS said the father had was actually the other son, with a similar name. The father asked to see an immigration judge and was denied and deported.

Well, like my wife said, "I likes the smell of lawsuit in the morning, it smells like.... Money."
 
Ok so out of millions deported 1-2 who aren't Murrcan but allowed to stay get accidently deported so what? It happens he's fine likely getting an inconvenient check.

I want this exact policy to continue there's always collateral damage in just about anything and out of millions one or two may be an oops that's a helluva record that you can bet the majority of Americans are more than ok with.

There are more than 1 or 2.......

Just lawsuits that were already filed, we are talking about 10-12, and the law center report on Thursday said there are up to 2000 lawsuits at this point, a mix of legal and illegal residents.

Do you know what this means? The average Federal Civil Liberty lawsuit is between 1.6 million and 3 million. A 2000 lawsuit in one year averages $ 3.2 billion in settlements alone on the low end.

And the deportation policy in this administration had an average approval between -7 to -20 and they didn't even deport millions

The problem is, that's their tax money, their rule, you live in Boston, that's a CA state affair, if the residents of CA don't think it's the right clause, they would have voted out Newsom in the election. So the fact that he won 3 elections (2 CA governor, one recall) didn't it tell you how CA resident sees him?

You don't use Federal power to solve state issues for the State; that's in the Constitution. I don't like a lot of stuff California does, but the thing is, that's their business; the Constitution gives the States sovereign power for a reason, and we have a constitution for a reason.

On the other hand, I will say the same thing here to you as I said to the Chinese member here that talked about the Homeless problem, it's not something you can solve with money. The homeless problem is a socio-economic issue; you can't just pump money into the issue and hope that will solve it. It does not work in Australia and Sweden, both come with huge social benefits that virtually make homelessness impossible, but still the issue persists. You can only help people who want to be helped; you can't force people to get help. That's the issue, not whether or not you had money to try and solve it.
